When in Tracy Arm, 1) did you make it all the way in? 2) do you recall how many times the ship rotated for all sides to see the views?

How's the weather?

Do you know what day/time the Castaway Club reception was (although I know it might not be the same as the 7-night cruises)?

I'm looking forward to your trip report

We had Lito and Jack. They were AMAZING!! They had great suggestions, our kids loved them, when I ordered tons of desserts they never seemed put out. They were seriously amazing!

Not to upstage ArizonaRita (same cruise - squirrel!) but our table had a blast with Yayan and Kayann. They had a good sense of humor and when one of our table mates asked for a special Filipino meal prepared, they accommodated us. They also didn't bat an eye when our table of 8 adults each ordered multiples of each course each night.

We did not make it all the way in although it was reported that our ship had made it the furthest way in so far this season. There was a major ice field in the way that would have made things very difficult, like rotating.
It seemed like we only rotated once.
Up on the sports deck, look out area, they were serving bread bowls of soup and hot tea/chocolate. Vey nice touch!
The weather was cold. Definitely needed layers and jackets, and it was windy which made things seem colder to someone from AZ!

It was early, like around 9ish. They talked alot about Aulani and the changes at Saratoga with the bridge.

I love scrapbooking and so writing a report helps me with journaling and it just seems to me that when I was looking for Wonder trip reports there werent that many Wonder reports. I hope to get started on it today.

I didnt notice any fraying carpets and the stateroom carpets seemed very nice and I am a floor sitter and I think I would have noticed. Had to put some of my FEs together on board.
The beds were very comfortable but not long enough for my husband but thats true on any of the ships. He's tall.
I dont think they did a big dry dock on her because I know she is going to have a reimagineering after the Panama Canal resizing so I cant see why they would spend the money twice.

Elsa/Serving teams

We did not have Elsa or Anna on our cruise. They showed Frozen alot but nothing was ever mentioned in the Navigators about a sing-a-long.

We had Quinten from India and Emma from Taiwan.
Quinten will be going home after this weeks cruise and will be back in August.
Emma is staying on until August and then she goes home.
They were amazing, funny and had what my husband calls the "Disney Difference".
If you get either of these two at any time, you will receive great service!!

This is my worst nightmare on a cruise and a big reason I have not jumped to Alaska yet...

My Dad Alaska about 15 yrs ago, and he said "never go on an Alaskan cruise. Hot chocolate and blankets on the deck is not my idea of a cruise." I asked him what time of year he went, and he said "August!"

So we won't see you wearing your mermaid outfits on the glacier?

Having been on both Caribbean sailings and an Alaskan cruise, my opinion is that they are just different. If you sail for the warm weather, beaches and tropical locations then an Alaskan cruise might not be for you. If you sail for the sailing experience and to explore new destinations then I think you would like Alaska. So far, the Alaskan was our second favorite itinerary (just below the TA) and far above our Caribbean cruises.
