When can 2016 cruise dates be booked?

I have heard the best cruise prices are available when they first post the cruise for booking. Does anyone know when Disney might post 2016 cruise dates for booking?

I going to guess part of DCL's 2016 schedule will be released this fall.

This thread has the history of release dates for DCL. The 2015 releases are below. With the trend to move these back each year, it could be December or even January 2015 before the first 2016 dates are released.

Is there any way to receive an email notification or alert of when the new dates are released?

It'll be announced on their FB page then it'll hit the DIS within seconds and also the Disney Cruiseline Blog which you can subscribe to.

If you work with TA, they will get the notice very quickly.

"Like" the Disney cruise line FB page & they will start posting a few days ahead when itineraries will be released. That should give you plenty of notice

Haven't been on a Disney cruise yet, just carnival. What advice can you give me?

(1) Eork out roughly when you want to go and also know how many of you are going.
(2) Work out your cruise budget, your total spend.
(3) Register with a specialist DCL TA and tell them the above.
(4) Thry will confirm what is available to you.
(5) Thry will confirm just before release when you can book.
(6) Decide from the options Thry say are available.

I want to book something for 2016 but will be on a cruise in 2015. Do you think i will get a better price on opening day or booking onboard?

From what I've seen, the advice is to book on opening day and re shop the cruise onboard to see if it costs less. Can anyone confirm?

I think I may be one case that's borderline because I cruise at the end of January 2015 and want to book the same January/February 2016. Since those dates aren't so popular and I'll be onboard soon after opening day, I THINK it wouldn't hurt to just book onboard and save myself from putting down the deposit twice while I'm also paying the 2015 cruise off in full.
