Since we don't have magic bands here at Disneyland, I am still trying to figure them out. If we buy tickets separately from our rooms, can they be added to our magic bands?
I don't think that you will be able to add your daughter's friend to your room if she is already staying in an onsite resort in her parent's room. Her MB will be linked to her parents room.

As far as tickets go, yes, you can buy your tickets separately and add them to your MDE account. Once you add your tickets to your account they will automatically be linked to your MB's.

There is no guarantee that any particular floor will have a full balcony. For example, there are fourth floor rooms with full balconies and there are fourth floor rooms with standing balconies. It all depends on what section you are in. But, I have noticed that there seem to be more full balconies on the second floor than on the third floor. There is an option to request a full balcony on the online check in form, so that is your best chance of getting a full balcony.

You can get them at a table service restaurant like Cape May or Captain's Grill, or at Picabo at the Dolphin (or is it the Swan?)

Today is our 60 days!!! We are doing split stay, first 5 nights at AKL and then moving 8 nights into YC. I made our FP+ today and it took good chunk of time doing that. It is just so fun planning! I was able to book all our 14 days of FP+.

Finished school Friday. Just have our school's golf outing today and then I'll be able to Dis to my heart's content!

Unfortunately I plan to upgrade Andrew's ticket to an AP in July so that means u can't book FP+ for my August trip until we get back. By then it will on be about 18 days out. Oh well, I'm sure there will be enough FP+ left to choose from and he won't care about seeing Anna & Elsa. (I'm making him go in July!! )

Can you do some FP+ and then go back the next day and finish up?

TIA, Helen
I'm just quoting this group because it is so exciting to know that we are all obsessing this week about how to book FastPasses. Can't wait for the next 9 weeks to pass by!

Not silly and your correct, but there are 2 (i believe) exit doors only a few feet away, that's how we go to the buses. Otherwise we do leave the sliding door unlocked, but closed if we're by the quite pool or by the DSA.

It is likely our group (team families) will be spread out across the properties. We would like to stay at the BC or YC because of the pool. Here is my question. It is likely that the my daughter will have one of her friends spend the night in our room several nights and hang out with us a lot on the trip (they are the very best of friends).
Would she be able to join us in the pool when she is staying in our room with us (FYI: we would not be exceeding allowable persons in the room)?

Oh, also is the pool heated in the winter?

Let us know when your plans solidify and I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list.

You have received some good answers to your questions.

Yes, the pool is heated. Often it is not the temperature of the pool, but the cool air when you get out that is the problem.

And if I did try for club level, does one lounge have a better view or is one lounge bigger than the other?
How will you be using the dining plan? 3 sitdown meals a day? Mix of CS/TS meals? Signature restaurants?

The DxDP is a LOT of food. The convenient breakfast at club level is the biggest plus for my family. There are snacks and drinks throughout the day, so if you think you would enjoy having a beer, glass of wine or cordial in the evening, along with some nibbles, it might be worth it .

The lounge at YC is currently bigger. Not sure what the size comparison will be once the renovation on the BC lounge is complete (whenever THAT will be). The view from the BC lounge is nothing to write home about:

Does anyone have a picture of the view from the YC lounge?

I believe I have updated the Be Our Guest list with all of the current information. Please note that if I don't have someone's exact dates, their name will appear at the top of the listing for that month.

Post 15: Be Our Guest list

Please let me know if you need to be added or if your info needs to be changed.

Thanks!

What you need is a "Try outs ROAD TRIP" to the Beach Club! They can play soccer by the lake and who ever kicks the ball into the lake gets cut from the team since no one can go in to get it. I'd say they'll last about 15 minutes before the ball is in the lake and when it goes for a swim that means that try outs are OVER!!!

Think of how relaxing and enjoyable herding 15 kids for soccer try outs around WDW will be . If NM were running the show she'd just go to the pool bar and let the 15 of them figure it out for themselves.

Of course your biggest challenge would be keeping the girls from sneaking off to the laundry room to meet our fantasy bartender Tom Collins.... HOWEVER, I have it on good authority that he is still having a hot fling with Margarita and he hasn't been showing up to work on time.

So what are you waiting for? PROBLEM SOLVED!

~NM
I'll run the plan by my Athletic Director and see what he says
