Sideways Cabins

Lots of people ask about the Sideways Cabin [CAT 11B]
or never heard of them:
Instead of walking into the room and it is a long cabin and you see the end of the cabin where the bed is, you walk in and you can left or right, straight ahead is the wall.

DECK FIVE: DECK SIX:

PORT 6019
5013 6015
5009 6007
5005 6011
5001 6003

STARBOARD
5513 6521
5509 6515
5505 6511
5501 6507
6503

Here are some views of the cabins:

These are great cabin, it has the illusion of a lager cabin due to layout of the cabin.

Do any of these connect? Either to another sideways or to another cabin in general? We're at the cusp with 5 people and sometimes 2 cabins are cheaper and sometimes the family oceanview is.

The sideways cabins are only on the Magic and Wonder, and I don't believe any are connecting staterooms.

BTW...there are also 2 sideways cabins on deck2: 2153 and 2653

OP, thanks for sharing the pictures!

No, none of the sideways cabins connect.

Thanks so much for posting these! We're in one on the Wonder next February and your pics are the clearest I've seen. I purposely chose this layout of stateroom and am now glad I did. Thank you for posting these!

We spent 12 nights in 5513 last summer on one of the Venice cruises and loved it, it definitely felt more spacious than a regular inside. We have the same cabin booked for the Baltics next summer

The cabins on deck 2 are CAT 10C / not 11B.
We love these cabins and had to share.

Wow! Those cabins rock!

I'm just so pleased.

February 2013 we booked for next month. With only a tiny bit of help from the travel agent in locating the category state rooms we wanted we ended up selecting one of these inside cabins for my mom and sister; and two deluxe inside state rooms for my husband and myself and our six kids. It turns out we picked adjoining SPH rooms & my mom and sister got these winners! This all is pre-boarding pixie dust IMO.

I just got off my first Disney cruise this weekend and had a sideways cabin on the Wonder and loved it! I felt it was roomy enough for 3 people (one was a 9 year old) and I really liked not waliking into the room with the first sight being a bathroom. I will book another sideways one for next cruise too!

We had 6521 on the Magic on one of the 8 nights out of NYC. There were 3 adults. We loved it and felt it did seem more spacious than a typical cabin in that class. I would book it again.

We had a sideways cabin on our Eastern Caribbean cruise in October 2011 and have just booked another for our Panama Canal cruise in May 2015.

Me Too! We spent a bit of time in one of these cabins a few years ago and when the EBPC cruise came up, I couldn't wait to secure one. It'll be just me and my wife so we'll have plenty of room here.
