Boarding security

I know the obvious things not allowed onboard, but I see people suggest taking a corkscrew on for your wine. What about a sommelier knife in carry on?

The knife on my corkscrew is much less than 2 in. long, and has never caused a problem. The only other sommelier knife I can think of would be used for "sabrage". I don't own one of those, since I prefer to remove champagne corks the usual way!

That would be interesting to see in the dining room.

That's all I needed, thanks, mine is for cutting foil. Just didn't want it taken away.

I expect you'll have to tip extra for this service.

I've only ever seen it in sommelier classes or smaller wine tastings, I doubt DCL would allow it in any of the dining rooms because it is hard to accurately predict which way a champagne cork will fly.

I don't know about John, but I was just joking.
