Because of her age she has no concept of time. Everything that happened in the past is "yesterday." (even if it happened a month ago.) She does have an amazing memory though, she can remember gifts that people got her that she is close to, from the summer. She will come up to me with a 3 dollar trinket and be like "grandma bought that/uncle/grandpa bought that" Anyway, she thought that we were heading to Disney last night She was a little disappointed....

Lol, bless her heart! I can imagine if that was what she was thinking, that might have been a bit of a let down. Need a tee shirt that reads: I THOUGHT I was going to WDW tonight and all I got were these lousy wings. Too sweet! I miss stuff like that from when my girls were little! I can see how she might have thought that. Mine certainly would have at the same age. Reece certainly sounds very smart, remembering who gave her what with that much detail.

Ahh Poor Reese! That is cute though that she thought you guys were going then. Can't wait to hear your dates. Hope they are when you asked for.

In my very humble opinion...the first week of December is the BEST time to go. Crowds are pretty low and the Christmas decorations are up. We also like January and February as well!

I don't think you could go wrong with ANT of those dates!

I think WDW would be beautiful for Christmas! Does Reece have a favorite character she wants to meet?

Bulls-eye and the lizard from Tangled.

<----have a unique kid.

Some of her favorite things to watch on TV are the 1940s version of 3 Little Pigs, Mary Poppins and Wizard of Oz.

Poor Reese but she will have a blast when it is time! She is adorable. I agree that going to Disney the first week of Dec is great. Christmas is beautiful. My daughter loves StR Wars so her wish trip is in May. Many prayers for all of you through treatment.

Awww... How disappointing for her not to be in Disney this moment... but when you do go - it will be wonderful.

Thanks so much for PMing me about how the Wish visit went, since I was on the road, I didn't see it here. I think any of the dates you've chosen would be great, but I agree with Nini - she has talked so much about that time frame - with low crowds and Christmas decorations up, it's a dream for me to take a trip then.

Loved seeing Reese in her Dorothy dress - just so precious!!!

She has EXCELLENT taste! Those are great movies!

My oldest daughter is a huge animal lover and always prefers the supporting furry cast to the main characters. Pascal is awesome!

So glad the meeting went well and they came bearing gifts no less. Awesome! I will agree that the first week in December is a great time to go. I do hope you get your first choice, but as Nini said, any of those three would be good.

Reese is adorable in that Dorothy dress!!! Did you make it? She looks like a happy little girl.

I didn't. When she was in the hospital someone sent it to her (the knew her love of anything Wizard of Oz). She LOVED watching the Wizard of Oz in the hospital wearing her Dorothy dress.
