Yup. From the Transportation page.

Once the buses leave the resort area after all the local pickup stops, the journey times are fairly short. You should be at the Magic Kingdom within about 15 minutes, Epcot or Disney Hollywood Studios will take about 10-12 minutes, while Animal Kingdom is the furthest away at about 20 minutes.

I think CSR is closer to AK and therefore, furthest from MK...? Hmm...how long does the loop around the resort usually take?

First of all, thank you to everyone for offering advice and helping me!!!

I will definitely try faxing in a request! Thank you for the room/request fax. I will change it up just enough to explain the situation and let them know I will pay for the upgrade. And will be soo grateful if they could work it out for us. My DDs would be VERY happy!!!

I will let you all know what happens. Thanks again!

Are all of the beds (non king bed and trundle beds) at POR queen beds? Including the Royal Rooms? They're not (supposed to be) doubles right?

Yep, no Doubles, all Queen beds at POR, except the Kings and Murphy beds.

That's what I thought. I just checked into a Royal Room in Parterre and the beds look small...smaller than a queen. I'm sharing a bed with my 8 yr old and it looks small to maybe just right for the 2 of us. Don't know how 2 adults would fit on it.

The beds are queen sized, whatever that technically means in inches I'm not sure though.

Andre
Queens are 60" x 80"; Doubles are 54" x 75"

Can anyone weigh in on what bus stop is generally the best when there is a scooter involved? We have a party of 9 going which includes a scooter.

Changing rooms

We have 2 reservations back-to-back at POR. So far, the first room we have is unavailable to extend a night, so I just made a new reservation for a different room for 1 more night. Which, like I said, leaves me with 2 reservations.

SO... if we have to switch rooms (on a day when we're going to be at the parks), how do we do that? Will front desk hold our stuff til we come back at night? Will they put our stuff in the new room for us or will we have to do that when we get back from the parks at night?

Visit my thread and send my fax to POR advise them the situation and ask to see if it is possible to remain in the room for the whole stay. It is possible or they move you to a near by room that does have the availability to keep you in what you paid for and give you that extra day.

If they can keep you in the same room, regardless on split reservations you do have to drop by front desk explain you have two reservations and that you need to check in for the last day because of the two reservation numbers they have to recheck you in again. Nothing happens to your stuff then since your checked back into the room.

Regardless someone should be able to do something for you.

Forgot to report back in. We are in room 1619.

Got most of the requests on the fax template I used from VenomHatch: ground floor room, building 16, garden view that we paid for. No corner room, but that's ok.

Towel art includes a Mickey head twice and a heart once. Nothing spectacular. We are tipping each day.
