Tusker House prices???

On WDW it says the price for Tusker House breakfast is $30 to $59 for breakfast. First of all that's a really big range. But, $59 for a breakfast buffet? Is that correct? That's total insanity if they really charge that for a buffet.

I had the exact same question. We are going to go ahead and budget on the higher end of that experience.

It really depends on what month you go/time of year. Holidays are always more expensive. At the end of August I paid about $25-$28 I think?????

When are you going?

September so it sounds like it won't be $60. I wouldn't pay that. But the $30 range I'm okay with.

I wonder if that give that high of a range to encourage people to purchase the DDP? Thanks for the responses and help.

That cost range applies to all the fixed price character meals. Not just the one restaurant you are looking up. Even the very expensive ones like CRT. In other words, Tusker House will never cost you $60 per person (but CRT might).

If you want exact prices, use the link that was posted above. That is to all exact pricing (by date, including "seasonal" cost increases - find the date where your trip fits) for each restaurant of this type. If you can't find your date on there, it's too far ahead and Disney hasn't released prices for those dates yet.

Any restaurant whose "typical" cost is between $30 and $60 will be listed as "$30-$59.99". I think the WDW web site only has four possible price ranges to describe all of their eateries.

So their categorization is often not especially helpful, and has led to a huge amount of confusion (not to mention the occasional panic) here over the years. Since many of the buffets are in the low-to-mid 30s these days, those will all be listed the same way.
