Welcome Readytocruise

Check out Dave's Tribute site for beer brands.

Cool

you will have to roll your own keg to your cabin but I think the room setward will provide the ice.

not quite smuggling

My husband had a 12 pack of beer in a bag as we walked in through the terminal. Although DCL doesn't mind you bringing beer on board the security guy asked my husband to cover the beer better (no flaunting it, in other words).

Also, be careful about packing too much in your suitcase. I have seen and heard of luggage handlers taking out their frustrations on overweight luggage. Wouldn't want your clothes to be soggy upon arrival.

We brought a rolling cooler on board with a case of beer then bought more in St. Martin. Saved us tons of money. Just got back yesterday. Our room steward filled it up with ice everyday and we kept it on our deck. It was a beautiful thing.

Sounds like I'll need to purchase a rolling cooler.....as all the beer we drink comes in bottles and I wouldn't want a porter breaking it all....too expensive.....

Keep in mind that you're not allowed to bring coolers onboard. The only kind of cooler that would be allowed is a soft-sided cooler that you could fold and pack in your suitcase. Your best solution for carrying your own bottled beer onboard is to put it on a rolling luggage cart.

LOL, Zurg! How much are you bringing? I was thinking more along the lines of a something a bit more discreet. Like this:
