ADR's Online VS 407-WDW-DINE & Cindy's Table

has anyone experienced the difference between making an ADR online through MyDisneyExperience as opposed to calling the dining line?

We are almost at our window for Cinderella's Royal Table and I don't want to miss it

Thanks for the input

I would do it online since they go live at 6am EST versus 7am for the phone line.

I say that but on Feb 4th (my 180 days mark) I was able to get CRT breakfast (8:05am) online in the middle of the afternoon. I couldn't believe it! In fact, I was able to get everything I wanted at the time I wanted that day without any issue. Maybe it was because we are a family of 4 and not a big group?

I prefer on line, you have more control with times.

On the dining line, the rep is just keying into a system about like we do. Only they can put date ranges we can only hit date by date. Their system is no faster. I ran some random dates at 5.5 months out, and there is tons of availability, so unless you have a very specific time you want to get, I wouldn't lose sleep. If there is a specific time you need, then I'd do it right at 6am.

Does Cinderella's royal table require pre-payment? I'm trying to book a table for 15 or so... Do they charge it? or just hold the reservation ?

Im not much of a poster here but have been planning a trip to wdw recently. IMO They want you to call because its their best chance to upsell you. I made most of our ADRs online, but now that you cant assign a celebration to it (its going to be our honeymoon) i had to call. They were very friendly but it was like dealing with a child with add. In the middle of my responses she would try to sell me on anything that could be considered romantic. This included the fireworks cruise for 10 people and a 300$+ floral and gift package. All i wanted to do was let them know it was our honeymoon and what my wifes name would be on the menu. It was worth it but it was a painful 15 minute call.

EDIT: forgot to mention this was for a res at CRT for bfast.

I prefer to do everything I can online. However, CRT isn't as hard to get as it used to be. Go online and practice with the end of July, beginning of August. You will still find a lot available.
