ADRs via phone or website? Any benefit of using one way over the other?

Is there any benefit in calling to make ADRs? I'm trying to get a CRT reservation in May. I've been stalking the website to watch for cancellations, but I'm wondering if I should be calling as well? Is there any difference?

Loved our first trip to WDW in May 2014. Trying to figure out when we should go again.

I don't think it makes a difference either way (just my opinion), but you could try calling as it wouldn't hurt. I know it's sometimes a pain to keep checking, but I have had luck snagging a hard to get ADR about a month or so out from a trip, so keep trying online as something just might show up when you least expect it. Good luck .

I made most of ours over the phone, as I have needed to change them, I have to call each time. I guess if you make the initial reservation over the phone, you cannot change them on-line, you have to call. That is the only thing that I can think of.

No, I don't think there is any difference in terms of the pool of available ADRs between the phone system and the online system. I agree, I would check for ADRs using whichever system is more convenient and be persistent. Good luck!

I wanted an 8am reservation for Crystal Palace and Ohana. The earliest I could get online was 9:00. I called and they were able to book 8:05 for both!
