Help me Pick a restaurant in DtD!

We are visiting Disney in August, and we will be on the DDxDP. We have already made all of our ADRs except for the day we plan on going to LEGOLAND. It closes at 7:00 that night, and we were hoping to make an 8:00 ADR in downtown Disney.

It's me, DH and DS6.

Originally we were thinking of doing T-Rex, but after reading so many reviews of such slow service, we may be re-thinking that plan.

I would hate to make an 8:00 dinner res at TREX and have it take 2 hours to do dinner.

We've already got ADRs for:
CRT, CP, BOG, Ohanas, Narcoossees, Tusker House, H&V, MM (fantasmic), Chef MIckeys, Yachtsman, 1900 Park Fare, Cape May (breakfast and dinner).

Yes, we know it's a lot of ADRs. We've done Disney so many times but have never really done any TS restaurants. We're taking a different approach this time

So would you do TREX or go for a different restaurant? We were looking at Fultons (would have to pay OOP for QS lunch at a water park one day to free up one more credit), or Wolfgang Puck café. DH said no to Ragland Road. All other menus do not appeal to me.

We enjoyed T-Rex on our last trip, and my son, 4, was in awe. I understand your concern about slow service. We did experience slow service, but were not there for two hours. The food was very good and I took my two children exploring the gift shop, Build a Dino, and sand area for children to play in while we waited for courses/ticket. It was a great experience for us, however we will probably try something else on our next trip. Rainforest Cafe may be another good option or even Planet Hollywood. We also like Raglan Road. I have not dined at any other restaurants in DTD.

A vote for T-Rex from me too. I have always enjoyed my meal there. Plus the fun & unique atmosphere!

I haven't visited Rainforest yet since the renovation. That may be an option for you?
