'Ohana or Kouzzina?

I'm debating between having dinner one night at 'Ohana or Kouzzina. I have never been to 'Ohana but I have been to Kouzzina and thought the food was amazing. I will be traveling with family including several children between the ages of 1 and 11. While not foodies, we all appreciate good food. From reading reviews I get the feeling that the food at Kouzzina might be better but 'Ohana might be more fun. Which would you choose?

We love Ohana'a
Kids have blast here with the activities they have during dinner.
The food is pretty good- The wings and the shrimp are our favorites- the noodles, well not so much

We have been to both places and I think for better food Kouzzina's wins hands down. Love the fisherman's stew.
I have had an amazing meal at Ohana's and some only that were not as good. Ohana's atmosphere at the Poly is alot of the appeal of Ohanas. My daughter loves the Hula lessons and entertainment as well as the food so I would decide if you only care about a great meal or if a fun night out is what you are looking for. We also like to watch wishes from the beach and get a pre dinner drink before hand.

Kouzzina! Kouzzina has a wonderful prix fixe Menu, which I had the last time I was down. It was perfect!

I appreciate the feedback...keep the votes coming!

For those of you who have been to Kouzzina, what time of day did you go and was it really loud? When I went our ADR was for 7:00 and it was incredibly loud. I felt that it was really too loud to bring young children from an overstimulation standpoint. I'm hoping that an earlier dinner might mean fewer people in the restaurant and therefore less noise. Can any of you weigh in on that?

'Ohana <3

'Ohana, much more kid friendly but also enjoyable for adults! Everything is delicious and the bananas foster bread pudding for dessert is absolutely to die for!

We love Kouzzina! Because we go to a park after dinner, we like to make our ADR's at Kouzzina for 5pm, right when they open. We have had two memorable dinners here and are planning another one for this summer. We like Ohana but feel it's a little over-hyped.

Hmm, well, so far I think the votes are pretty much tied. I'm not sure I'm any closer to a decision but at least I'm getting the feeling that I can't go wrong!

TheRustyScupper has said that it's noisy all the time but I'm still hoping it's a little less noisy at 5:00. Did you find it to be very noisy?

Akershaus Food....tell me what you really think?

Holy moly - I posted something about Akershus on this thread meaning to post that on it's own thread....WHOOPS
I wanted to post about this too!

Hands down my family LOVES OHANA's! Nothing beats the great food and entertainment, followed by taking your drink down to the beach to watch Wishes. This is a MUST DO for our family every trip - its a tradition for us that we can't seem to break!

On that note, I am really excited to try Kouzzina's for our trip in Sept! I looked at the menu and the food looks amazing (that and I love Cat Cora). Good luck with your decision - it's a tough call!

I thought something like that must have happened.

Thanks for your input. Right now I'm leaning a little bit towards 'Ohana's because it does sound like it would be a lot of fun for the kids. And watching Wishes from the beach sounds like a great way to end the evening. But the food at Kouzzina is SO good! I want to go back! I'm so torn between the two. I hope you have a wonderful time there. I had the steak and it was really, really good.

O'hana has a lot of mixed reviews but it is one of our favorites. My husband and I have enjoyed relaxing kid free date nights there but there is entertainment for the children during the meal, everyone wins.

Ohana is the one ADR we get every single trip. We're planning this next trip without DDP (gasp!), so we decided to pick 2 table service meals. Ohana was the first one we all said!
