? about dining in Port Canaveral area...

Hi We are flying into MCO on 4/18/14 the night before our 7 night cruise. We are staying at Country Inn and Suites, at Canaveral.

I know we will be hungry when we land. We've got to grab our luggage and our rental car.

Any thoughts on where we might have a nice dinner? nothing too fancy as we will be at the end of a long travel day.

Not sure whether to eat at the airport? or stop on our way to cruise terminal area? or wait till we get to PC.

Any thoughts?

Lots of restaurants by the airport. Carrabas Bonefish, Panera, it's about 45 minuites to the port. You will find more local restaurants there.

Rusty's Seafood and Oyster Bar

Grills Seafood (Grills/Rustys/Fishlips .. the portside trilogy ... I prefer Grills)

and this one is basically in your parking lot, right on A1A, across from a McD's

Kelsey's Restaurant & Pizzeria (family friendly pizza / Italian near the port)

We've eaten at both Grill's and Fishlips a few times. We enjoyed both very much but Fish Lips wins because the wait for a table and the noise aren't as bad.
