Trying to determine how many target disney gift cards to bring for onboard charges

I am a family of 5 (3 kids -6,5,2 yrs) and trying to figure out how many gift cards to use for our on board spending - I would like to take advantage of the 5% off for as much as possible

Here is what I know:
- tips will be $420 for us all
-we don't really buy souvenirs
-we are not doing any excursions at st Thomas and st Maarten
-we plan on bringing alcohol - but I might treat myself to the drink of the day and a night cap with my hubby while kids are in the clubs

Anything else that I am forgetting!?!

Should $750 cover me for the week for things I know of and things I can't resist when we get there !?!

Tastings/Mixology
Unexpected (aspirin, sunburn relief, upset tummy, etc) sundries purchases onboard - can be pricey.
Tips for room service/porters

all cost extra.

We are a family of 5 (cruise as 6 but my mom pays her own way). We took 800. in gift cards and went over by 75.00. The last bit was last minute photos I ordered.

We brought alcohol but didnt drink it. Ordering ended up being more fun.
We did do mixology (2 adults x 15.00)
We did do a spa experience (100.00)
We did play bingo (OUCH $120.00) but I had so much fun!
We did have excursions but sadly all were cancelled so we used the money on the other stuff.
We did buy souvies in the shops 200.00
We did have 50.00 in singles cash for various tips

I feel comfortable taking the same amount next time. We will leave alcohol at home and take pop instead as I cant stand Coke products.

Oh my goodness - if my on board acct is this high I think my DH will divorce me! Haha! I haven't told him yet that the bill is already at $420

Speciality coffee is extra. Dinner at the adults restaurants is extra. Any spa treatments. Rentals of things at Castaway Cay. As others have said, gift shops, photos, snacks for the movies / shows, bingo, activities like mixology / tastings.

Don't forget that you might want to rebook onboard to take advantage of the reduced deposit, rates, and on board credits.

For my family of 6, we plan in doing one excursion in Cozumel. Snorkeling and possibly para-sailing at Castaway Cay, and likely rebooking on board. I intend to purchase one 50 card every pay period - every two weeks - and already have 4 cards. We head out in November so we should have 24 or so when we board. I'm sure we'll need more but will budget for that throughout the rest of this year.
