Well, for those of us who only have debit visa cards, that one lump sum at the end could wipe out a checking account. If you pay the lump sum before, you can break it up into monthly payments.

Or, if like me, you have a credit card that charges a sky high interest rate, you still have to pay it off in 30 days or get charged even more.

Plus, I never have a problem using all my meal credits to their fullest.
