Fast Pass+ for offsite guests

Just my opinion, but I will be very disappointed if the offsite guests are allowed to register online for FP+ in advance of visit. (This statement excludes AP holders who should gain access to these FP+ in advance) Allowing offsite guests to gain access in advance to FP+ would really tie up the system I am afraid. In addition Offsites do not spend nearly the $ at Disney that onsites due, through resort billing, restaurants and entertainment purchased on disney property. (let's face it, we can be pretty captive through Magical Express) Any offsites I know have proclaimed about the wonders of offsite restaurants. Simply put offsites do not share in the costs so why the rewards? Let me hear your opinion.

I think that WDW will need to have some kind of perk for onsite guests. I don't know if it will continue to be EMHs or something else, but if they don't...many more people will move to offsite stays.

All that discussion to the death on TPAS board brought up the question of what do you do when a family travels to WDW and they want to go to the park with Grandma who lives in Orlando. They can make FP+ ahead of time for themselves, but they can't add Grandma unless they put her on their resort reservation - and they may not want to do that, because unless you're DVC it costs extra to put a third adult on a reservation.

Disney isn't going to want families out there thinking that Grandma from Orlando won't be able to ride the Seven Dwarves Mine Train with the grandkids unless they all wait in the standby line. Just a guess on my part that WDW is going to allow SOME type of advance booking for offsite guests who have park tickets.

They share in the costs of park admission, which is where FP+ resides. Regardless of how I feel about whether offering pre-booked FP+ to offsite visitors will tie up the system or if it should be offered at all, I don't see how this particular argument holds water.
