It's an educational program for kids. They take a class at a park (really, sounds more like summer camp to me) and you can purchase a discounted ticket in association with it.

We have two trips this year -

Who: Two adults and a 15 year old
When: 8/17-8/23
Where: Poly Standard room - $1275.78
Tickets: 3 APs, they are getting 3 trips out of them so this one is - $611.31
Food: Eh, maybe $600
Souvenirs: $500
Gas - Round trip - $500
Hotel up/back - $200
Total - $3687.09

Who: Two adults and a now 16 year old
When: 11/9-11/15
Where: WL Club - $2213.55
Tickets: 3 APs with 3 trips out of them - $611.31
Food: Still maybe $600
Souvenirs: $500
Gas - round trip - $500
Hotel up/back - $200
Total - $4624.86

We may buy a TIW card, not sure yet...probably, so throw that fee in the first trip if you like.

We're taking a short trip in April kind of last minute since we had some miles saved up on our credit card.

Two round trip plane tickets from Raleigh to Orlando: 22,996 points and $10

Four nights Pop Century preferred 4/25-4/29: $498.16

Tickets: either $552.90 for two three day base tickets or $665.90 for four day
hoppers

Figure $250 for food, another $250 for stuff.

About $1500.

10 day park hoppers ($1595)

Plus food OOP, souvenirs ($1250) and airfare ($1150)

Total: $8,117
Our plans have changed so much....but have come full circle but a little cheaper....

Still GF CL (sugarloaf) $4162.10
But....we ended up buying new AP's (for at least two more trips) at $2308, so half is $1154
And then, $1060 was our actual airfare
And $1500 for food and souvenirs (including purchase of new TiW card)

So, $7876.10 so much for doing it cheaper this year.

We can blame DH for that one, he blatantly told me "I love Disney, but if we have to do Disney every year, we will do it the way I want..." Ok.....

Trip cost

12/19-29/14
Staying at CSR
10 day park hopper ticket including water parks
FREE dining plan
3 adults / 1 child
4,898.70

Most expensive time of the year but I really don't think its to bad. It was going to be 6,778.00 until today.

July 12-17, 1 adult, 1 child

Flight: $500 (both)
1st night hotel: free (off site)
4 night stay POFQ: $602
2 4 day park hoppers: $340
Dining: $25/day = $125
Pirate Cruise: $35
Pirate Makeover: $35
Misc and souvenirs: $200
Memory Maker: $150

Total: $1987

In reality:

Flight: gifted
1st night hotel: still free
4 night stay POFQ: $602
park hoppers: gifted
Dining: $125
Pirate Cruise: kid is paying for this himself
Pirate Makeover: kid is paying for this himself
Misc and souvenirs: paying for with GCs
Memory Maker: gifted

So I'm spending ~$727 out of pocket on the trip, kid will probalby spend $100-150 on activities and souvenirs. It helps to ask for Disney-trip related presents!

Labor Day Weekend trip. DH and I only.

2 flights from PIT to MCO: $480
Town car to/from WDW: $75
3 nights at the Dolphin: $520
2 day park tickets x 2: $400
4 one day park hoppers: comp (bought in charity auction)
Food and drink: $800
Souvenirs: $200

Total: $2474

The food and drink and souvenirs are just estimates. They could potentially be higher. Anyone have a good way to estimate? It's the expensive cocktails that always get us

Yeesh! I know the price of each thing separately, but haven't looked at the total. I've spent 8 months paying this off slowly and it's almost here. Not planning to return in 2015, so splurging a bit this trip.

May 25-June 1st
Me, dd age 11 (loves being an adult at Disney), and ds age 4.

Plane tickets roundtrip from NC: $240 each (including ECBI) so $720 on Southwest

Resort package: 7 nts at ASMo + regular dp + 6 day base tickets = $2780

Grocery delivery (garden grocer) $132 including delivery charge and tip

Memory Maker: $149

Orlando Stroller rentals: $84 (stroller plus insurance plus tax)

Spending money $600 (BBB +tip, Pirate's league + tip, dp tips, souvenirs, cab + tip to one of our early ADRs, airport parking, anything dp and groceries doesn't cover)

$4381
