helpful if people mentioned discounts/other reason their price is lower than usual

I think it would be very helpful for many of us readers of this topic (which I'm guessing are people like me who are trying to gauge their possible costs) if people would include their discounts/gift cards/Visa points/etc. used, or mention that they got a convention deal or travel agent deal.

For example, the above poster must be using a (large) discount, but doesn't mention it: It is 7 days after he posted his $3,806 price, but today (at disney's website) same room/ticket/people costs $5,917.80 plus tax. That's a huge difference (with tax about $2,500 more)!

1 adult 2 kids ( 6 & 11 )

caribbean beach club with quick service dining $1734.13

priced without dining was 1140.78

also priced wilderness lodge without dining $1844.74

So I let the kids decide & they chose caribbean beach with dining. This was an AP discount. Airfare will be just shy of $600.

June 28-July 2

7 Adults

2 rooms POFQ/4 nights with military discount

6 4-day park hopper military salute tickets

1 4-day park hopper regular price

Food has not been totaled yet, but we do have 4 ADRs and various quick services and snacks and alcohol: rounded up estimation of $2000.00 which may or may not be a stretch, but it's better to have too much money than not enough

Price does not include transportation as 4 of us are flying and 3 of us are driving and paying separately.

total: $4723.09

Six nights in a Cars suite 9/21-9/27, 2 adults, 2 kids, 1 infant. 4 day non-hopper tickets.

$2800 with a PIN code. But if free dining comes out, we will take that instead and our package price (according to my TA) will jump to $3100 because we lose the PIN discount but gain free dining.

Travel expenses: Probably about $700 in gas and hotels.

Food: No idea yet. Will work out a budget if FD is never offered.

Souvenirs: $500 ($100 each).

Will add in MNSSHP tickets at some point for around $200 or whatever the price is now for 4 people.

2 adults Apr. 29-May 4 at Yacht Club water view with play and stay discount

Around $2700 for the room/tickets, $800 total for a flight, will probably spend around $300 or so on a car from the airport and cabs, then whatever we spend on food ($700?) and whatever we spend on souvenirs. Guess would be around $5000 total.

As an aside, we are renting a beach house in Myrtle Beach in July for a week for $4000 that sleeps 20 and taking extended family for that.

3 adults, 2 Disney adults, 1 infant

August 20-30, 2014

Preface, my dh travels a lot and he earns thousands of reward points, which I'm using towards this trip!!

Here goes:

Poly club level, garden view, Aug. 20-23; 4 day base tickets, plus 1 water park ti ket for 6 people, no dining = $2,562

Townhouse rental, Aug 23-30 = $623.00

Rental van 10 days = $0 ( using Marriott rewards to pay)

5 round trip flights from Phl $0 (using Southwest points)

Goody tote bag from Disney florist with some balloons = $79

Onsite Disney dining (ohana, be our guest, fantasmic package & some in park snacks) = $0, but would've cost $ 600 for 6 people ( have $200 Disney gift card from opening an Disney visa, plus $300 gift card from my Amex reward points)

Off site dining for 7 days = eating 1 meal out daily..$0, would've cost $400, but earned gift cards through my points and amex, southwest rewards.

Food for townhouse, 7 days = $0, (have $100 Walmart gift card earned from AMex rewards).

Misc., souvenirs, date night with me and dh, parking, tolls = $0, (have $250 in cash back from ebates and shop at home).

Grand total = minus rewards, cash back, etc....$ 3,264 for us!!!!

Didn't include Disney dollars, I have $12.20, trying to get to $20 to redeem.
