2 adults, 1, 7 y.o.

3 nights hotel over in Claremont, $251 - wasn't spending $100+ a night for Pop.
1 day of ticket of magic kingdom. $300
Fuel for car, driving from illinois $250
Other hotels on the way down and back. $200
Eating out, etc. $1500

So about $2500 for the 7 day round trip drive down. One day at disney is enough for me, I need pool, and ocean time and some time doing other stuff on a trip. Probably different priorities than most. Doing Nashville for lunch on the way down south, then the night in Chattanooga, on the way back probably a day and a night over in the Tampa area, then hit memphis on the way home for bbq.

We're international guests so the pricing structure for the Disney package is a little different but I've converted it all to US$ to keep it consistent with the rest of the thread

One adult and one Disney-Adult (12)

19 nights at POFQ with QSDP plus 1 night room only at BLT and 21 day Ultimate Tickets $5920

Flights x 2: $1910

TOTAL: $7840 (£4900)

Wow, that looks even worse in Dollars lol.

This same trip (minus BLT) has cost us approximately £1,000 / $1600 less the last few years because we've been doing September or October trips since 2010. Yep, so this has been sticker shock, big time!

March3-8-2014. 2 Adults
$600 airfare paid separately
POFQ Garden view with free dining and park tickets = $1960 so total with air $2560

We bought Disney gift cards from Sam's Club ($142 for a $150 GC). We paid off trip #1 with the gift cards we bought weekly since Christmas. That was very time consuming entering all those gift cards...they come in packs of 3 $50 cards. I entered some and CM entered some.

Trip #2. Sept. 6-12, 2014
2 adults
No air fare yet (waiting because I haven't found a deal yet)
Park tickets and free dining (bounce back offer)
POFQ Garden view
$1890. Paying on it with Disney gift cards from Sam's
We owe $960 but that will be paid off soon

Overall, we saved over $200 using the gift cards. (30 x 143 = $4290 actual cost of Gift cards but the value is 30 x 150= $4500 so $210 savings so far on gift cards
I hope Sam's keeps them in stock.

Unhappy Grand Floridian

May 14th-21st
2 adults 3 kids ( 6,8,14)
6 day ticket w/hopper
Deluxe club level
Dining plan
$8250

Transportation Southwest $242 each ticket round trip
Grand Rapids to MCO TOTAL $1210 ( FREE BAGS)

This is with current discount, no standard rooms available on Monorail so we are currently at club level to stay on monorail. Talked with CM today they told me to call back last two weeks of march to check on the availability of standard rooms. Would love to get price down a little!

If you add in transportation costs (gas/food/hotel/etc) driving from Oklahoma that is roughly another $1000. So around $3,333 for this trip. Our 2011 trip cost about $2,300, but we only needed 3 park tickets, had a free DDP, and stayed at POP. So really not too bad. Look at flying this time around, but would have cost about $700-$800 more after factoring in tickets, baggage fees, renting a stroller, etc.
Well...I have to say that your Disney Package costs are great(not including your transportation costs). And I LOVE the CBR!
