Sanaa In May

I'm thinking of booking an ADR for 5pm, right when dinner starts. I figure this would give us better chance of sitting by the window. My question is, will the animals be out at that time in the middle of May in Florida? Might seem like a silly question but, I'm from Az and we usually only go to the zoo in the early part of the day because otherwise it gets too hot and the animals arent really out and about. Thanks

I have asked asked a similar question for April and the response was to dine before dusk.

Like you, we have selected an early dinner hour @ 5:30pm.

We've eaten at Sanaa 7 or 8 times, from opening to about 8PM, and have seen animals every time!

Now, I am looking at going OOP and switching to Sanaa lunch. We will be there the 2nd week in May. Do you think it would be best to book an early or late lunch to be able to hopefully be able to see the most animals? Not sure how they react to the heat/humidity in Florida but, it's so hot here in Tucson that during Spring/Summer if you dont' go to the zoo the very early part of the day, the animals are all in hiding(cant say that I blame them)- TIA

I have dined at Sanaa at 5:30 in mid August and we saw plenty of animals. We actually stayed at AKL that trip and saw various animals on the savanna all day.

Two things....first, we had an early (5:30 maybe) ADR and requested window seats. We were told it would be maybe a 40 minute wait for that. We agreed to wait (DH groaned, but that was the whole point of eating so early....). We were seated in probably 3 minutes, at one of I think 4 open window tables. ?? Baffled me, and then they did the exact same thing to me at Bonefish the other night. I'm sure that's a generic response, but it's sorta weird when you SEE (from their station, I add) all the empty spots.

Second thing--if you don't get a window (or decide the lounge looks cozier, like I later decided), just walk outside and look at the animals either before or after your meal. No dirty window to look through

We've eaten lunch at Sanaa twice - in the middle of the day - a little over 90 degrees outside - and there were tons of animals.
