Question about booking with Disney Visa

Quick question!

I am thinking of changing resorts AGAIN
I recently got a Disney Visa card so that I can hopefully take advantage of the discounts as soon as they come out for our time frame. Our current reservation was not booked with this card, though.

Would it make it any easier to rebook now with the Disney Visa card when I call to change our resort or should I just wait until the discounts come out? I don't want to risk losing our rooms. TIA!

You can change it whenever, I did the same thing and they said. as long as I paid a new deposit or switched my deposit, it would work for any Disney Visa discounts/deals.

There's no need to rebook. If/when a discount comes out that is offered to Disney Visa cardholders, you can have the discount applied as long as you make another deposit/payment on that reservation using your Disney cc. Keep in mind that there has to be availability at the resort you have booked in order to take advantage of the discount as having a reservation already in place does not guarantee a discount can be applied.

Thank you! We just can't seem to decide which resort is going to be the best for the 9 of us!

I booked our May, 2013 trip using my debit card but when the Disney Visa offer came out in December, 2012, I called and was able to apply the Disney Visa deal to our vacation. All I had to do was make another $200 payment using my Disney Visa.

It's always hard for me to choose a resort, especially since we don't really care to do split stays. Once you do decide on the resort, I'd have a 2nd (and maybe 3rd) choice in mind just in case your first choice isn't available for your dates should a discount come out. Good luck .

I have a question. I'm booked for May. I paid half of the trip on my Disney visa. I want to put the other half on my husbands visa card so that he can get the 200.00 statement credit. I'm just waiting until the discounts come out so that I can pay after any adjustments are made. Can I do that?

As far as I know, Disney doesn't care who's card you use to pay with. Our trip is in my name, but I used my mom's card to pay the deposit.

Interest rate

Don't forget the six months of 0% interest on Disney vacations paid for with the Disney Visa
