Last year was the first year I didn't send any cards. I was noticing that we were getting fewer and fewer each year, so I joined in the no-card club. I won't be sending any this year either. Well, I probably should send one to my aunt. She sends them every year and remarked to mom that she didn't hear from my family last year. She'll be getting the one and only card I'm going to send.

We normally don't mail out cards unless its to very few people. Some co workers get cards with cookies. Couple service people for bonus/ presents with a card. Cash / gift card presents.
Think we are down to around 5-10 to mail.

We haven't done an old fashion Xmas card list in almost 10 years.

Some years we do and sometimes we don't. This year we are doing a huge stack just because it makes me feel good to do them. I did about 50 to older members of our church, those who don't get out much or have lost a spouse. We send to our older family members and some younger ones we rarely see. We also send some to people we have worked with in the past. I always buy cards at after Christmas sales and most of the time, include a photo. We just budget for these in our Christmas budget.

I'll send a few, mainly to family and close friends, but that's it.

Sadly, in our case, our list has been shrinking because people on it are dying, not the tradition. Another big factor, divorces. Seems that everyone I know that gets divorced, both the husband and wife wash their hands of all their common friends.
We continue to send them, and most people on our list we have been exchanging cards with for 30+ years.

I do but my list shrinks every year. I'm down to only about 20 that go out now.

My husband sends out about 100 - sometimes more. Alot of those people he hasn't seen or talked to or even heard from in years yet he insists on sending them cards.

We each do our own because I refused to deal with his long list. This reminds me I need to pick up some Christmas stamps on my next Post Office trip.

I had always sent cards, but last year was such a lousy year I didn't send any cards nor did I put up a tree. Just got a little table top tree. Not sending cards was very freeing and I won't be sending any out this year. I will be putting up a tree!

I stopped a couple years ago. It is so liberating not having that hanging over my head anymore. One less unnecessary thing crossed off my holiday list.

I don't plan on ever sending them out again.

I send out cards. I love to receive them as much as send them. I think it is very sad that the tradition seems to have dwindled. That's too bad.

I send to longterm family friends- like people who knew me as a child type friends- and family that live in another state. I don't give them to coworkers and don't expect them from coworkers either. I do like getting cards in the mail from my cousins and people I've known for decades but no longer see.

We send photo cards. We still have kids at home and at college. Since our college age son was home for the weekend, we took Christmas pictures then and I ordered 40 of them tonight.

I still enjoy seeing real paper pictures of our family and friends even those I see often or on Facebook. I like having pictures on the fridge. They make me smile.

I just ordered mine...the process was painful! The sites kept crashing and I considered skipping it! I love to receive them and enjoy looking at the ones we have sent in the past,

I will probably send them and did mail them last year. Before that, we hadn't gotten them out in a few years. I don't know if we got less cards last year because we'd stopped sending them or if people in general didn't mail them out anymore.

I still have friends who are not on FB so it's nice to see how the families are doing. I actually like Christmas letters and reading about friends & their kids. I have a hanging photo holder by our back door & love having all the pics displayed.

We will just do a photo card but they will probably be NY cards since DD won't be home until right before Christmas. We didn't get around to pics over Thanksgiving.
