Do you still send out Christmas cards?

We have been, but over the past few years, we really cut down our list. We've been doing the photo card every year. This year, I'm seriously considering pretty much nixing the annual card (except to a few relatives.) Most everyone that we send cards to "sees" us daily on facebook. It almost seems silly to send out cards other than to the few random relatives/friends that don't use facebook.

Just curious as to what other are doing in regards to Christmas cards.

Yes, but our list gets smaller each year. We tend to send cards to people who send to us. I hate to send them out if people 1) don't want them or 2) we just don't talk to any longer.

I do. I always do my cards on Thanksgiving afternoon. This year I sent out 40, mostly to family who lives far away and old, old friends. I send very few to people who live locally. Even those family members who I "see" on Facebook regularly get a card from me, because I do not give gifts to most of them.

Yes. In fact, DH and I joined the Christmas card exchange here on the Disboards. It's fun to send/receive cards in the mail!

Our families don't send cards anymore. Actually, one of my Uncles now just posts his Christmas letter and pics on Facebook. It's just not the same.

I've never sent cards, and no one in the family does either. The only cards we receive are from our tenants (we're superintendents).

I do, but my list is shrinking by the year. I just sent mine out today. I only receive a handful of cards each year... I am receiving less and less now. I think its a dying tradition for the most part. It was a lot more exciting when I was a kid and it seemed like my parents had a couple hundred cards strung up around the doorway. I have a feeling I will give up on it in a couple years.

We order a set of 50 picture cards and always have some left over. I really think this will be one of the last years.

My list is extremely shorter since the post office insists on constantly raising their rates. I've gone from about 45/50 to maybe 10. Hallmark and other card manufacturers no doubt aren't pleased with the USPS at all. Besides that like others I am tired of sending them out to those who do not return one back.

Have always done photo cards. Last year I wasn't going to send any but caved and finally sent regular cards.

This year regular cards again. So much easier for me.

We send out about 70-80 cards a year. I've done the photo cards for the past several years and just ordered this year's over the weekend. We love getting cards from family and friends both near and far. Every day as they come in, I'll set them aside until DH comes home and we open them together.

We usually send out about 75 cards. I haven't even started making them this year, but I know I need to get started this week. My DH is from a large family, and that is why there are so many.

(I have all my stuff purchased, just need to start ...I think it will go pretty fast once I get started!)
