paying OOP ? kids meals

Sorry if this question has been asked a million times, but wondering if we will have a problem letting our teens order off the kids menu at Teppan edo specifically?

the other restaurant I am wondering about is BOG, there is NOTHING they like on the adult menu. Honestly I would much rather go for lunch.

any input would be greatly appreciated as we are trying to figure out our food budget... TIA~

1) When paying OOP, anyone can eat from any menu.
2) With exception to buffets and AYCTE, you pay the menu price whether adult or kid menu item.

Unless the menu has changed since June, the kids menu at Teppan Edo is basically smaller portions of some things on the adult menu. There was chicken, Shrimp, and I think a vegetable-only choice, all served with rice, udon noodles, and the typical veggies. They don't have the kids meals in the little monorail-like dishes anymore.

They will allow you to buy the kids' meal, though; my youngest did on our last trip with no problem.

Thank you for your feedback... I thought it was fine since we are not on the DDP, but wasn't sure about Teppan edo.... I know the kids meals are a lot smaller but can't justify the price if all they are going to do is pick at it KWIM...
