We had to try our hand at voodoo

These adventures are a ton of fun and I reccomend them to anyone with or without kids!

The ships actually moved in the bottles!

I believe they got in to a cannon fight!

Our first treasure was

We then headed back to get our last treasure hunt done

When we went to check in at our last place we saw a family with a CM and a huge token which you get in the game in order to activate the different locations. We ended up getting to see the finale which you get when you do all of the treasure hunts within 24 hours.

Our last activity just unlocked this

I think this is a great addition to the parks and love this experience!

We then headed to Philharmagic which is a must do on every trip! We always love the show and sing our hearts out to the music!

We also noticed these new Small World dolls which sing the song in their language and in English

I was really surprised one of these didn't come home with us!

After all of our fun we were getting hungry and decided to head to the GF and their counter service cafeteria

We rode the monorail around and found people working on the gingerbread house!

Not only were there chefs but there were also construction workers! An odd mix!

We got to dinner and got almost the same thing

Mom had a regular margarita pizza with a rice krispie for dessert

I got

The gluten free margarita pizza with fruit for dessert

Both were very good!

We had a great time just sitting back and enjoying dinner!

Before we headed to our next stop we had to get a closer look at the house!

One last look at the GF from the bus stop

Next up:
Hollywood Studios!
The Osbourne Festival of Lights!

Yup. I see great evilness there.

You would be wrong. I had no idea.
I guess I always associate GF with high end and CS dining just didn't fit into that picture.

Those pirate adventures are definitely something that I want to try out next trip!! They look like a lot of fun and a good way to spend time in MK, especially if it's busy, lol!

I've just now started heading over to the MK resorts for meals instead of sticking in MK, I think it comes with having spent too much time in the park and just not liking the CS food anymore bahaha! Lunch looks tasty!

It's a great time!

I am not a huge fan of MK counter service so I like having an alternative!

Finally got back to reading but the good thing is that I had a few updates to read. I too wish we could have the Indiana Jones ride instead of the show. What do you like better about the Disneyland TOT compared to WDW? The treasure hunt at MK looks so cute! I just noticed some of the props on our last trip. Which place at Grand Floridian did you get the pizza? It looked really good! I have got to get down there sometime to see the Christmas decorations. Those gingerbread houses are amazing!

I like the layout better. Rather than having to walk through all of the different garden areas you just walk right in! For some reason it makes it seem more like a hotel that way.

We got it at their counter service/cafeteria area.

I love WDW at Christmas!

Nice update, Love the MK decorated for Christmas!

That treasure hunt looks like fun, my DH would probably like it.

That gingerbread House at the GF has gotten bigger and more elaborate over the years, I saw it in I think it was 1987 and then 1989-90 and back then it was a one story little Bungalow type house.

Both Pizzas looked yummy!

Before we dive in to trip reporting I thought I would give you all a little life update! We have been going through a rough time over here so any prayers for my family or pixie dust or good vibes would be greatly appreciated!

The other day I was sitting at my computer at work and got an email from the Disney College Program. I had been tossing around the idea since before I started my undergrad degree. Well I decided to apply! Within an hour I had my web interview and right after I was done they offered me a phone interview! I had my phone interview and it went very well! My top three jobs are attractions, merchandising, conceirge and character. I am going to my character audition tomorrow! Any good vibes or whatever would be awesome! It was spur of the moment and I can't believe how fast everything is happening! I should know within 3 weeks whether or not I am accepted!

Last time we left off we were just leaving the Grand Floridian. It took a while for a bus to come but eventually it did!

We were heading here to watch Fantasmic!

I just love Hollywood at night!

When we got closer to the hat we found Mulch Sweat and Shears performing!

There's Mom's boyfriend!

We always love watching them!

After their set was over we tried to figure out where we should head first. We still had some time before Fantasmic so we were trying to kill it.

We ended up over here

Which btw if you're reading my Cali Trip Report I just showed pictures of the actual Chinese Theater in my last update!

Even those plant covered fountains are at the real one!

For those of you that are unaware this is probably one of my top three favorite rides at Disney. This ride through though was probably the worst I have ever experienced!

First off our narrator wasn't very animated. She spoke monotone and um you're working at Disney girl pep up!

The next issue was getting felt up by a three year old throughout the entire ride. He was all over most of the bench and once in a while he would press his side up against me and start rubbing my thigh. Needless to say I was totally grossed out and it took a lot of patience for me not to throw him out of the ride and feed him to the Aliens.

Ah I just love seeing the different movies!

And this is when it went from bad to worse

Now this may sound bad but I didn't realize it at first. That is an old woman. In her late 60s. Playing Bugsy!?!?! She held up the narrator like normal and then once she got in to the car she scared one of the little girls up front. Throughout the time whenever she had to say something mean she would follow it up with "I'm just kidding this is all pretend". Really? I get it Disney you want to be all pro feminine movement by allowing women to be Bugsy but don't! You need a man playing that job! Especially not a women that old. You wouldn't let Mrs. Potts play Gaston would you?!

After we got off of that horrific ride we headed to go see Fantasmic!

It wasn't as good as Disneyland's but I still enjoy it!

Oh how I would love to be friends with Mickey!

Very thankful for the new zoom lens we got for the camera!

The Pocahontas part is pretty cool but Peter Pan at DL is way better!

It's really funny how bad the costuming department does when it comes to beards in this show!

Look it's one of the egineers!

Here comes John Smith to save the day!

Now my favorite couple!

Oh no it's time to take over Mickey's imagination

I love the lighting in these pictures!

Oh no run Mickey!

Hide!

This is Mickey's Oh Crap! face lol

I love this picture!

Of course Mickey saves the day!

Just when you thought it was all over!

Maleficent turns into a dragon and all hell breaks loose

I remember saying "look at me look at me!"

Time for Mickey to kick some butt!

then everyone is happy and celebrates

Mary Poppins and Bert

and then Mickey becomes amazing

Some imagination huh?

The End!

Hope everything turns out fine! Im sure it will! Good luck with your phone interview you'll do great! I really want to apply and filled out half the application on a spur of the moment thing but I feel like if I did apply and get accepted, I'd never come back!

That is annoying that the older woman kept breaking character and it takes you way out of the moment.

I have been thinking of you guys and hope all is going well at home. You're definitely in my thoughts and prayers.

I love the week you picked for your visit. I really need to plan a trip where I arrive during Halloween and stay for Christmas. Seeing the park move from one season to the next is really cool.

I am very excited about the College Program for you. I think you would make a great character, but I know you will do well at whatever position you take.

Awesome pictures of Fantasmic. I have not see F! since before I got my current camera. Yup - it's been awhile!
