FP+ is just fantastic, that is really what I think. Oh by the way - which one's Pink?

Cali Grill

So I made a reservation for 7:45 for California Grill - Wishes is at 9 that evening.

Do you think we have a great chance to be able to watch the fireworks from our table? Or will we be done with our meal by then and be asked to leave?

You will definitely still be there at 9:00. Most Signatures run at least an 1 1/2. However, the amount of tables with a view are limited so you may have to go out on the observation deck to watch the fireworks.

It's the luck of the draw. If you aren't done with your meal, and don't have a window table, you can go up to the deck, and finish your meal after the show.

You may not get a window table, and have to got out onto the deck to view, but that's still nice.

Place yourself, order and appetizer, and order your meal after you finished the app. And you s/b fine

You will be there unless you are rushing things. Also, don't watch them from the table...go to the observation deck. Even if you still have food the waitstaff will put it back under the warmers for you while you watch. Almost the entire restaurant empties on to the observation deck for the show. You could however choose to stay inside so no worries. Enjoy!

Sig meals take about 90 - 120 minutes so you'll definitely still be there when Wishes starts unless you eat quickly or only order one course. You might get a table with a view of the MK, but there are far more tables without that view. However, we like going outside on the deck. The music is piped in for both the restaurant and the deck.

Just let your server know you want to see the fireworks and they'll pace your meal accordingly. We've often ordered dessert, gone outside, and it was served when we got back to our table.

I had a 7:30pm reservation two weeks ago and wishes was at 9:30. We were able to watch the fireworks from our table with no issues. Enjoy!

And don't worry about being asked to leave.

We've seen people nurse a glass of water and iced tea for almost 2 hours w/o any attempt made to ask them to leave.

Some folks with a window table feel its their personal property for as long as it takes for the fireworks to start--whether or not they've long snce finished the meal.

True. But in some respects, they have only themselves to blame. When it first opened, the entire right-hand side of the space was built out as a "lounge area" and getting people to vacate their tables was easier with the ability for them to take after dinner drinks over to that area where no one would care how long they lingered. Then, they eliminated much of that lounge and built out that space to be part of the restaurant leaving diners with nowhere to linger except their dining tables, as the bar area was always packed. Of course, they offered the option of leaving and then returning with your receipt to re-gain access to the top deck for the fireworks, but who really does that? I haven't been to the new build yet, (two more months...), so I don't know how much, if any, of the old lounge they reclaimed. If they did, then they shouldn't be shy about asking people to take their drinks to the lounge so that they can flip the table. If they don't have an adequate lounge area, then they have to live with the fact that people with 5:00 reservations will feel entitled to rent a piece of real estate until the FW show at 9:00.

We just got back, did dinner at 9:30. We had an appetizer and my sister and I had sushi and dad had the scallops. (everything was super good, and our waitress Wendi was enthusiastic and attentive). We finished up our entrées in time for the fireworks, and Wendi got our cocktails in time to head out to the observation deck for the fireworks. They piped the music out on the deck, and it was quite lovely. Once we returned she took dessert orders. No rushing.
