Feeding a toddler at CRT

We are taking our 2yo to CRT on Thanksgiving for dinner. I realize that she will not be served a "meal" because we didn't pay for a kids meal. Does anyone know if we will have a problem ordering a little bit of extra vegetables and pasta for her?

Luckily, she is a good eater and will likely munch on what we offer from our plates.

Not trying to be greedy, just wondering. I am seeing mixed reports from people who tried to order extra food here.

We didn't order anything for ours at breakfast, but the waiter brought out a child's breakfast for him, and a drink.

We had the same experience at breakfast. He got French toast sticks and a drink, plus we all got some pastries and fruit to share. I'm not sure what happens at dinner though.

I believe at dinner they serve plain noodles/pasta for the under-3s.

We were there last month for lunch and were told that my 2 year old niece would be provided with a "smaller sized" portion of anything on the kids menu for free. we were expecting buttered noodles and would have been happy with anything they gave us as she is not a big eater.

When my son was 2, we had dinner there. He got the buttered noodles, but he was already half full from us sharing the bread they brought out first and the appetizers his sister and I had. He also got his own desert and drink.

They will provide the 2 yo with pasta. Our server just announced it at the beginning that she would take care of our toddler with some pasta if that would work for us. They also gave her a princess wand when they handed out the swords/wands later on without us having to ask.

We just had lunch there last week with our 2 year old. I wasn't sure how it would work either so I just asked our waiter how it worked with her being under 3. He asked me if she would eat chicken nuggets and I said that would be great and he brought them for her no problem. She also got a little bowl of grapes and cheese and a dessert and apple juice. Not sure if this is the standard but it worked out well for us.

My 2 year old just ate off my plate. Didn't see a need to order her something separate as she doesn't eat very much.

Just updating on our experience:
Our two year old was not served anything except a plate of cheese and grapes. I fed her from my plate because she was starving and she gagged on a piece of lettuce and threw up at the table. Basically ruined our meal and our experience.

I was beyond disappointed.

Ahhhh! So sorry!!! That's a rotten way to experience CRT! Hopefully the staff was accommodating and helped everyone get cleaned up!

Just curious - did you ask if she could/would get anything like pasta with the main course....

Grapes? Not the safest thing for a toddler... So many other kid friendly fruits that they could choose?! I know parents who would be spending lots of time cutting them up.

Why not just order a child's meal for your 2 year old?? My son is 19 months and eats a full child's meal when we go out. We went to Bonefish Grill last night and he got his own child's meal and my 4 year old got his own child's meal. Disney does let you order a meal for your 2 year old, right?
