Been trying for an hour and can't figure out the new photobucket. I can't seem to get the image to load. I will try again tomorrow.

Linda, follow you every year. Just love your work - wish I was half as talented! Your attention to detail is amazing. Last year was so special and you took 2nd place - this year was nothing short of wonderful. Can't wait to see what ya have in mind for next year. My favorite part from this years work - the gingerbread men on the mantle and the teddy bear on the floor - just perfect.

I had no idea this was held at the Grove Park Inn. Looks like I'll be making a day trip up there this month

Hi Linda beautiful work. Do you know if maybe this will be televised on the food network?

Unfortunately the competition has not been covered by the Food Network since 2005. It seems that as the years go on there is less and less media coverage for this event. There was a short piece on the local ABC affiliate here in Asheville, but that is it.

I can't believe that took only 5th place! What did the others look like, then?

It is beautiful.

Here is a link to a great video about the competition. You can see my piece briefly as well as the Grand Prize, second and the two pieces that tied for third.

Grand Prize.....Pandas
Second....the red car
Third....the ferris wheel and the toy factory

Beautiful work as always, Linda. Great to see another year's joyful creation.

Merry Christmas.
