Pools at Pop

Are they really heated in March and how crowded should they be? WE are going to be so busy but it would be nice to just unwind a bit

Yes, they are heated year round. How crowded they are will depend on the weather.

The mug color choices across WDW are purple, green, and orange lids with the Mickey/Minnie/Donald/Goofy/Pluto pool scene.

I was hoping for new mugs and/or additional colors. I had read last week that POR only had one color left. Even though we already have these colors, I am glad they have at least 3 colors for our trip next week for our family of 4.

Thank you. Just as a side note, wouldn't it make it easier for everyone if they just had the big towel carts near the pools? Disney must know that no matter what price you're paying for a room, when you go to the pool you need a towel.
Anyway, I'll be happy not to be calling housekeeping all the time. I'll look for the carts in the hallway. Thanks!

According to a post in this thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread....3221438&page=2, from someone who is at Pop right now the only choices are green and purple.

I guess you could chalk it up as an additional amenity, and being that we're not paying $250+, us common folk don't get no towels, ya hear?

Congratulations! I wish we would have done a disney honeymoon. Now we have to wait for our kids to get older to do an adults only trip.

Just switched to Pop! We were supposed to be going to POR. But we got a good deal on hotel/DDP/1 day tix. Cheaper than what we were paying OOP at POR.

We have always loved Pop - had a rough time last time we were there b/c of MB issues. Snotty, rude CM's. I am hoping this time is much better!!!!

Requested 4th floor, Lake View. Hope to get it

Ideas to buy at POP store for BDay surprise room decorate?

I'll be driving into town and stopping at POP to check in before heading to airport and picking up family. Its my nieces 13th BDay so want to get a few fun things for her and decorate the room before she arrives. Anyone have ideas of whats available at POP that would be good for a 13yr old girl? She loves anything Disney or young teen things. Won't have time to go elsewhere at Disney to shop except perhaps walk over to AoA.

Since you are driving and will check in first, I would bring decorations. Dollar Tree or another Dollar Store or even Target or Walmart would have Disney related things...balloons, maybe some window clings, even just birthday stuff would be cool. Hey, she's celebrating at Disney, so anything is good! I don't remember seeing many Disney birthday related items at Everything Pop and if they did have decorations, they would be much more expensive than something you brought with you.
