I don't remember are coffee makers in the rooms? If not, is it ok to bring a small one?

There are not coffeemakers provided but it is acceptable/allowed to bring your own personal sized coffee maker and use it in the room.

Time is really flying! We started our countdown at 319 days and now we are down to 32! DDBF is worried that time will slow down now

Officially 302 days until we go back! It's our first trip to the World in 15 years! We are celebrating our anniversary there!! Just booked today and can hardly contain my excitement! Last time we were gifted a room at CBR for our wedding, but I am so looking forward to staying at Pop! (On a side note, this is also my first post on here, after being a long time lurker. Hi everyone!)

40 days for me! And I start a new job in two weeks... I tend to get incredibly stressed with new jobs, so I'm really hoping this vacation will be a de-stressor and not an additional stress!

We haven't been to WDW in well... my signature says it all... lol!
Do they still play retro music, commercials and theme songs on the Pop buses?

Here's a question for all you POP experts…how do you deal with the pool towel situation? Forgive my ignorance, but I'm used to just heading to the pool and grabbing a bunch of towels off of the big carts. Pop doesn't have these, correct? Where do we get towels for the pool?

You bring towels from your room. Call housekeeping as you head to the pool. By the time you return you'll have new towels in your room.

Heading back to Pop in 44 days! I have a room request question for the experts. I booked via a third-party, so my only option for room requests is via online check-in. I booked a Preferred room because discount availability made it cheaper than a standard room.
I asked for "near transportation" - should that put me in the 70s Preferred section?
Also, I asked for "highest floor" thinking I'd rather have the quiet/privacy even if it means taking the stroller on the elevator, but now I am rethinking. Are the elevators reliably available? (I live and commute in DC, where one should never assume the Metro elevators will be working...)

The 3 times we've stayed at Pop there were always large carts full of towels at the elevators in our building so we would just grab extra towels there before heading to the pool. If not, Mousekeeping is very quick at bringing extra towels to the room when you call for them. I think they also have them at the front desk (I know they do at AoA) -- you just have to ask for them.

Heading to POP in 8 days for our first stay there. Thanks to big hotel employee discounts, we tend to stay off property. This time, it made more sense to stay at POP and get some onsite magic (though I will miss the convenience of the car). Looking forward to checking out the hotel, and having a blast. Last minute trips are fun!

We had 1 of the 2 elevators in the 60's section (our 2012 trip) down for service during our stay. Luckily it was only down 2 half days, during the day. We weren't at the resort at the time, but my parents (who were with us) took afternoon breaks. It didn't effect them at all since the other elevator was operational and it wasn't a crowded time of day. You should be fine with your request!
