I've read back the last 15 pages or so and didn't quite see it... but how's the fridge situation? We'll be at Pop with my in-laws for 10 days the end of May and I'm really hoping we've got a fridge by then! Thanks guys!

Just booked one night at POP before our Universal/Cruise vacation. I did it strictly for the purpose of booking a BB at BC for the Food and Wine festival. I'll confess I'm a deluxe person all the way. I have never stayed in a moderate or value, but the resort looks really cool. Anything I should check out while I'm there. Can you walk to AOA. I think my boys would really seeing the Cars section?

Check out the shadow boxes in the lobby, and it is a short walk across the bridge to AoA. AoA also has different items in their gift shop, so be sure to take a look around at both resorts if you shop.

It's fun just walking around checking out the larger than life icons! Also, you can catch the nightly movie by the pool!

I love my deluxe resorts as well, but I really enjoyed our stay at Pop and can't wait to return!

Nice! POP was refurbed in 2010, so a newer look for you.

In December, the pools were closing at 11pm. It can vary.

Historically there is Fall FD, so hopefully a good chance for this year.

All good.. you get a chance to book a BB AND a chance to discover what POP is all about. Keep an open mind, and enjoy the fun factor to be had.

As already mentioned the shadow boxes in the lobby... walking the grounds is fun, and getting up close to the ICONS... we know that Disney is so detail oriented... the song titles, the giant keyboard by the 80s pool, giant twister game in the 70s, strolling on memory lane and reading about the fads/trivia/news from the decades (which coincides with the decade you are in). Many photo opps around the resort.

The short walk to AOA is worth it... FWIW Cars is my favorite section.

Have fun!

For my late Sept trips we stay at YC as it is easy access to Food and Wine Festival. So I can relate to you wanting to stay at BC and using the BB for that. POP is obviously different from BC but I can honestly say I love both POP and YC for different reasons.
