can i buy a "half year ap" for 3 year old?

I would love to go to disney soon and buy APs but our son will turn 3 in may, it seems odd to buy a whole year for.him.then and.have his renewals be at a different time.... do thry allow you to add one for a 3 year old that is prorated to the remainder of your own ap? Or would wehave random renewals every year until we didnt buy aps? If we bought them now its a little over 6 months difference from his birthday! Anyone ever had this problem before?

Nope!

You can think of it as being easier financially to have different renewal dates. There's not one big hit.

You might want to calculate the prices, depends how often you'll go. Since the price for an AP is the same regardless how old the person is but kids ticket prices are less, it makes more sense for me to just but tickets for my daughter!

I believe it's also still an option to make monthly payments versus paying in full.

Arent payments only for people in southern CA? Its hard to determine how many times we would go, thats why i was curious about if i can do a 6 month for him..... I dont mind the "big hit" and would rather have us all on the same schedule, is this just not an option then? Is it best to wait until his birthday and then decide if we really want APs still?

Any CA resident can get the payment plan.

What I'd do is get APs now, and decide after he's 3 if an ap is worth it for him. Unless you're only making 1 trip before his birthday, then I may wait. Honestly, I'd try to get as many trips in before he turns 3 that I could. But I don't know your schedule and ability to go between now and may.

Payments are for any Ca resident. Why would you it a pass when he is still free? Just buy your passes. If you want them all renewed at the same time just buy him tickets for the 6 months.
