Saw your pictures on Facebook and after I thought, "I'm so glad I'm not the only person who gets excited about icicles," I thought "I'm not sure I'd want a ferret that close to my face." But then again, I have a cat who nips at people's noses if she's cranky or in a lovey mood.

Hope you got a picture of you and Mo before you hit the road this morning.

Don't know about TN, but it's raining here. And the dog is snoring, so it's a lazy Sunday for me.

I agree with Suzi that turning the baby off seemed to defeat the purpose.

I finally got over to Jordyn's ptr yesterday. I can't imagine what they are all going through. I look at my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter and am so grateful she is healthy! I try never to take good health for granted. I think a medical career and the fact that my brother died when he was 18 keeps it in sharp focus that every day is a gift!

Hey, how did the tacos turn out? Sounds like Gus is a good sport and a lot of fun to have around. He no doubt loves your whole family dynamic as well.

Okay, really gotta get upstairs and pack lunches and get breakfast. All the kids are early risers! Have a great day!!!

Oh! I almost forgot. I was getting some groceries the other day at a place close to Miles' preschool and I spotted a store I'd never seen before: G Street Fabrics!! I wanted to go in so badly, but was due to pick Miles up and needed to get back home for lunch and naps. But Jen is having a friend come over Friday to give me a break, so guess where I'm making a bee line for??? Yep! Can't wait!!
I love G Street Fabrics!!!! Haven't been there in a while since the one in Rockville is almost 2 hours away from me. Hope you found lots of bargains!

Yay! I'm so glad so many of your awesome DISfriends will be meeting up with you guys. It will be so much fun. And as far as driving to/from Mo's.....can she meet you somewhere easier then you can follow her in? Maybe MDW? She says it is easy to get there. I don't know....just an idea. I would be a nervous wreck too. I am NOT a city girl. I get nervous when there are two lanes and buildings on both sides!
LOL - I learned to drive in the big city! Doesn't bother me at bit - I can even drive in NYC - don't like it, but I can do it.

Have a safe trip D and Josh! You passed about 7 miles from one of my best friends that live south of Knoxville.

I need to buy my plane tickets too. I missed out on the sale, so now I'll have to bite the bullet.

Just catching. I missed so much!
Have a safe trip and enjoy your Dismeet.
Gus sounds like a hoot. Like his sense of humor.
Love the bag!!
The "baby" sounds like a lot of fun. Someone I knew her daughter had to bring one of those home, and her parents asked the teacher if she could skip the assignment because they already had a real baby that did enough crying etc...at home. The teacher was nice enough and understood.
My nephew began his deployment. It was so hard saying goodbye. My poor mother was so heartbroken. After all he is her first grandchild and they have a special bond. He promised her he would stay safe and the he has a desk job (hopefully he does). Last night he was able to Skype with us. We were babysitting his little one and he asked us to wake her because he was missing her. Of course I woke her and after a few minutes she was throwing him kisses, giving him high fives and "talking" to him. She even tried to get him to read her a story, as it's something they have done every night before bedtime. Made me happy to see he was doing well and watching him enjoy the time with his daughter. I hope time flies. We miss him terribly!

Safe travels! Thoughts and prayers to all who need them!

So it's been hard for me to keep up with everything. Just been busy between play dates, new baby, Girl Scout events and Sarah had her FIRST EVER SLEEPOVER last night!!! I was so proud of her because I did not receive the dreaded late night phone call asking to come home!! She is only 5 1/2 and I was sure she was fully ready for it but she was more than ready for it!! She slept great for them and is already talking about her next one!

Drive safe!! I've been enjoying the pictures on FB!! Looks like you've been having a great time so far.

Good morning everyone! We arrived safely in Knoxville yesterday afternoon... It was a 9 Hour drive from Mo's, and exactly 1000 miles from our door to Knoxville.

I have a bunch of photos to post from yesterday... Not sure if they will upload though? Having issues connecting my phone to the WiFi.

Today is my big Dismeet, which I am super excited for... Liddy, Oopsi and Ariana are all coming to Knoxville. I just have to say how excited I am that Oopsi and Ariana are each driving 3 hours from opposite directions to do this Dismeet... Seriously, I cannot wait! Liddy and Oopsi are my very first Dismeets, so I am just beyond elated to see them again. And very excited to meet Ariana too... She has purchased quite a few of my bags, so it will be a great honor to meet her! I will be sure to post lots of pics when I get them uploaded.

I hope you all have a wonderful day... My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Road Trip! A bit belated but safe travels!

Thats a pretty fancy baby, and the ability to turn it off is a great thing! We had eggs when I was in school and I was the bright one who decided to get some extra credit by having twins...unfotunately both of them did not make it through the two week period and the other had some slight head trauma by the end Had good reason though, a week into it I broke my ankle and was on crutchs, no leaway from the teacher so poor babys had a rough way to go!

Love the new glasses, especially the Vera! They look great on her. Your not kidding about them being expensive, I dread getting a new pair.

Mo's kids are adorable and Stevie looks so squishy.

Have fun at the Dismeet and take lots of pictures!

I didn't realize you had not met Ariana before!

Wish I could have sent a Flat Nini so she could be in your pictures!

Hope the meet was fun and not a total wash-out. Or too cold.

I love all of you girls in your glasses...very chic!

And what fun you had at Mo's. I'm so sorry I couldn't be there. I wish I had known a little sooner before I had made plans as I sure would have loved being there. I can see how well you hit it off with Stevie and the girls. And love the picture of you and Mo.

I loved your updates on FB of your mega meet in Knoxville today.

Good morning everyone!

Yesterday was amazing!

Josh and I started off with a wrong turn... Eventually we figured it out, but we went 5 miles out of the way first. Which made us about 10 minutes late.

Josh and I walked into The Cheesecake Factory, and everyone was there waiting for us... Squeals and hugs all around! I was so excited to see everyone!

We were seated almost immediately... Josh was such a good sport, seated in the middle of all these women. Lol

We all chatted and ordered. Oopsi brought gifts... Cute Disney post cards for all of us... I didn't get pictures. Mine are Donald themed, Ariana's were Pluto themed, and I don't remember what Liddy's were???

I know Oopsi took food porn pictures... But I was slacking. I'd ordered salmon with asparagus... It was very good, but not as good as fil's the night before. I just had to splurge on a piece of cheesecake though... The waitress chose turtle flavor for me. And boy was it yummy! However, I didn't take a picture until after I'd had a bite or two...

After a fun lunch, we decided to hit The Disney Store... As usual, I couldn't find anything I wanted... Connie did find a little something though, I think she was the only one to make a purchase. Josh was kind enough to be our official photographer...

Then we wandered the mall, losing Josh frequently... So we were relegated to taking selfies...

Eventually, we found Josh again (and lost him... Then we found him... Etc...) - he thought we should all cram into a photo booth... So we did.

Before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye. I just love my Dis friends, and I hate saying goodbye to them. Staying with Mo and doing this Dismeet, was definitely a highlight of our trip. Josh and I are even talking about coming back next summer, with the girls and mm.

One last picture...

So happy I was able to meet you all... Many hugs!

After our Dismeet, we went back to the house... I messed around on Fb for a while, then I took a nap.

Josh's dad took us out for dinner at Calhoun's... It was soooo delicious! I had a smoked chicken dish with a side of broccoli and cinnamon apples. Josh ordered a slice of Jack Daniels pecan pie... Which I took a few bites of.... WOW!!!! Mmmm, it was divine!

Looking at the above photo, I am beginning to wonder if I don't fit in with my in-laws better than I thought... We are a bit fun and eccentric. Lol

Today, Josh and I are taking the Turbo Bug on a drive... We are going to do a short trip into the mountains, and we are also hoping to see some historic places. There is a really cool looking historical home tour that I would adore going on, but they are all closed Monday/Tuesdays, and we leave tomorrow. Fil said we must plan another trip next summer, and we will make it into a Civil War tour... I've always been fascinated with that time period. We will see... It would be fun.

Anyways... I hope you all have a wonderful day... Prayers and pixie dust to all!

D~

Yesterday was a lot of fun, I'm so glad I could get off of work to drive up and meet everyone!

Jim was shocked I went to a mall for several hours and didn't buy anything at all.
