I have never really tracked hours for the month, so this has been a little eye opening. I usually track miles both running and biking per week/month. I set a mile goal and never really paid attention to how many minutes each week total it would take me to reach that mile goal. So I took a stab in the dark when I posted my goal minutes for the month. I guess I will need to up my minutes next month.

11/15 80 min bike ride on the trainer
11/16 90 min bike ride on the trainer
11/17 65 min bike ride on the trainer
11/18 35 min bike ride and 40 min run

Thanks, Rose. Sorry you weren't feeling well during your run, but I had a great giggle at your story!

It's really quite funny now. If I start getting a little frustrated, down, etc all I think about is mile 9 and I am smiling. It truly was a horrible run, but I swear so very good for me. Still not sure if I will do a half marathon again, that was my 10th and maybe my last for at least awhile. I am fighting some nasty tendonitis in both my achilles tendons. But I finished that stinking race, even if I was flashed to the world at my happy place.

Ok, I am back and will update tonight. We cancelled our Thanksgiving trip (it was another quick one) because we are pooped! DS is going to come here instead. I am kind of scared to see how far behind I am on my minutes. Saturday I walked my mile around the tail gaiters at the USC/Florida football game. It was pretty fun.

Anyhow, hope everyone is getting in lots of activity and I will be back later today.

40 mins weights. Testing out a workout program to get ready for a ski vacation - anyone want to try it?

Thanks Rose, glad you're back and hope you're feeling better.

31 minutes of DVD workouts. Started 30 Day Shred Level 3 and had to switch to another workout after 8 minutes!

I have plans tomorrow night and Friday night, so I really need to get in long workouts on Thursday night and especially on Saturday.

Total 589/1000

yesterday - went running during my lunch break. For some reason it seemed like the wind gusts only came when I was running up a hill, and no, it was not a tail-wind. Ah well.

26 minutes

Still not half way. I've got some serious work to do.

I haven't been here in a while, having taken almost a week off after the half-marathon and walking around EPCOT the next day. I was pretty totaled with a quick weekend of travel and late nights.

Rose - I am so sorry that your 10th half-marathon was so miserable. And I am so sorry that happened to you at the port-a-john!! OMG!!!! I rarely stop during a race if I can avoid it, but took full advantage of the real restrooms in Animal Kingdom. It just so happened there was hardly a wait when I got there, though when I was leaving the line was out the door and down to the main sidewalk.

Update to my minutes:
11/16 - walking - 20 mins
11/17 - race training (walking fast and on hills) - 80 mins
11/18 - elliptical (25 mins) and personal training (45 mins)
11/20 - elliptical (35 mins), personal training (45 mins) and recumbent bike (50 mins)

New total 1230/1300.
