Just a couple of weeks ago we were on the Dream and at the first night my son so wanted their mozzarella cheese sticks... but they were not on the menu. We thought it was also there, but guess not.

We asked our server, he said it was only on Pirate night. But, starting the next night and for every night from then on, he had cheese sticks with dinner. They had the chef make up some for him.

We also love Indian food, so every night along with our dinner, my wife and I always got an additional Indian dish. It was always delicious! On our last full day, our server saw us at breakfast in Cabanas and asked if we’ve ever had Jamaican food (he was from Jamaica). We said no, so he asked if we wanted to try one. Instead of an extra Indian dinner than night, our server had prepared an authentic Jamaica chicken dish for us.

Our servers have ALWAYS gone above and beyond to satisfy us.

Never sailed in one, only saw them during a cabin crawl on our Epic Med cruise. We pretty much stick to the Haven Villas on our NCL cruises. Nothing beats the "Suite Life".

Last November was my first on the Fantasy...all previous cruises were on the Magic.

I fell in love with the steamed lemon pudding dessert from Enchanted Garden. It's my favorite dessert by far.

This year, we started off our cruise in Royal Court, but I asked my sever if he could get one...told him it's my favorite.

I had steamed lemon pudding every night on my cruise...with the exception of Palo night...even Pirate night!!!!!

Those are the kinds of things that make me keep coming back to DCL over and over!

OK this thread is being hijacked by "DCL bending over backwards to please guests" stories, (not to mention the Norwegian Epic bathroom discussion. Weird. At least I know what NCL ship to NOT take a family cruise in.) but allow me to add another one.

I was on the Fantasy with my family and my parents eating (at a cruise. What's new...) at Cabana's when a lady CM came over and asked us how our cruise was going and how had the food been so far. Now, that cruise is the best we have taken so we were showering DCL with praise on how much we were enjoying ourselves. She then asked if there was anything food-wise we would like to see served.

My father goes on this rant about some Indian (Hindu?) lamb dish that's spicy but not so spicy and that he loved. We are from Puerto Rico. Never been to India. Never eaten at an Indian restaurant. Ever(much to my dismay) Where on Earth he thought up that dish is beyond me. He kept trying to explain but he didn't know the name of it. I almost told him to shut up LOL. Anyway, the lady just thanked us, took our room number and left.

Sure enough, on the last night of the cruise the Maitre 'D shows up at our table with this huge dish of what else? The lamb stew thingy! And another huge bowl of white rice! And we had just eaten our main courses too so it was double dinner that night. My father tries it out and yells: "Yes! This is it! This is what I was talking about!"

I gotta say, I was already impressed. Way impressed with DCL. After that, I got hooked for life. A couple of weeks ago my parents took an Alaskan cruise with Princess Cruise Line this is what he said about Princess: "It was pretty good. But no Indian Lamb Stew."

On November 24, 2012, the Pink Elephants were on Parade in the Caribbean

The only con to a Disney cruise vs RCCL, NCL, etc for me is no casino. Pretty much everything else is better on DCL.

Hey, I was trying to make a valid comparison of DCL PROS and their amenities. I just wanted to point out that I did have some kind of valid basis for the comparison. I didn't mean to hijack the thread (although you have to admit, it is kinda funny!) But if you read my original post, it's pretty true to topic...
