Question Help with photopass cd downloading

I received my photo pass Cd in the mail. I placed it in my hard drive and all that comes up is the Disney waiver. Then I go to computer, the e drive and click open option. I then get all the photo numbers listed separately. I can't seem to get the file to show the pictures. I tried to use my Picasso program and locate the file and it only recognizes the Disney waiver. I also tried to copy and past the to a file in my desktop and now I have over 2000 icons

I'm not the greatest with computers but I really feel dumb now!

Help, what do I need to do to get these pictures open.

It sounds like all the pictures are on there. If you go onto the 'view' tab, you should be able to display large or medium icons. If you do that it should show you a thumbnail of each image.

What is the default program your system is trying to open the files with? You can check this by right clicking and selecting 'open with' and see what it shows up as the default. Windows viewer should display them just fine. Does the first file not open if you double click on it? Once you get that open you should be able to click on slide show or play to view the rest either manually or automatically, in sequence

If you can't get it figured out, call photopass. You might have a bad disc. We have had that happen before. We always get multiple CDs because we always have a ton of photos. Last year, we got a bad one for one of our discs- it was like you described- you could see the numbers, but not the photos. I called them and they were easily able to retrieve our photos (even though it was after they had expired). They sent us a whole new set of discs instead of just replacing the one bad one.

Question

I was able to "view" the picture I clicked on. It only allowed me to select each individual "file" and then I am able to view it using a list of programs I have available. The is all through right clicking the mouse while being in my computer and E drive.

I shouldn't have to individually select all 2503 to view and not be able to download. What am I missing. Usually if I place a cd in the hard drive, the screen pops up asking me what program I want to use I usually use picasso. If I do that with this Cd it only shows the Disney waiver as the only file.

I don't know anything about zip/unzipping a file. Could that be something?

I think you should contact photopass immediately so you have a chance that they still have your photos to put on a new disc for you.
