WDW in mid - late May

Hi Everyone,
We are planning a family trip for 2014 as soon as my children get out of school; which will be May 16th. We are thinking of doing May 17- May 26. I was curious about the weather but more specifically the crowd level that time of year. We have always gone in Sept or Oct and a couple of times in Jan so this will be a new experience.
Thanks in advance for your input!

As with most things, this can vary, but to predict future occurrences, history is a good place to start.

One of my favourite times of the year to go to WDW, but can be a bit too hot for babies and toddlers I think.

April-May is our most favourite time to go. Weather is awesome and crowds manageable (is there even a low season now) ?
