Which truly meant the calories didn't count at Disneyland. I can only imagine it at WDW.

So - I wanted to try to add a different FP+ at a different time - thinking we might add the one for Fantasmic or maybe RoR later in the day or ?? . But - I can't say - hey - get rid of this one entirely and show me what else is still available that day in general. I'd have to move it to a different time FIRST, and then try changing the experience. But the time I ideally want to move it to, I can't, because it's not available in that time frame. (The time frame I'd like it to be or switch to something else. That's just stupid. I should be able to say - hey - JUST give me TWO fp+ for this day. Maybe I'll add a third later based on what's left to pick from whenever. And here's more - I KNOW RoR is available at that other time where I would put my third FP - because if I "start over" as if I was going to change everything - one of the options comes up in the time frame I want. But because I can't move the Great movie Ride to that time first - I can't get one for RoR. (and now - starting over - I can't get Toy Story) ARGH! Another example - we've got a FP+ at Epcot we have no intention of using. Got what we wanted for Test Track and Soarin. The other one is a complete waste for us. But I can't cancel just that one. I could be holding a pair of FP+ for "Epcot Character Spot" at a perfect time for another family who can't them - but I can't cancel just that one. And the system seems to have some idea that I couldn't possible want three FP+'s that might be back to back or overlap by a couple minutes. Really - I can ride Under the Sea between 3:05-4:05 and make it to ETWB by 4:00-5:00. Really. That's totally doable. But no.... If I move one of those to a different time, I can get the opposite - so I know those times are available independently - but not in combo - it's demanding I take times farther apart. Really? Why? So I can shop in-between? Um.... no - it just makes me MAD and not excited about my trip that they are trying to plan my touring so much. I really, really, really miss the old FP without enforced return times. That worked great for us. We'd do rope drop, get some fastpasses, chill out for a table service meal, go use our FP's in the late afternoon/evening (almost always later than the return time), watch fireworks, and then head back to the resort. Sigh. We'll see how the trip goes!
You fail to understand.

This has nothing to do with guest satisfaction and everything to do with greed. You got it right. If you were allowed to do your three experiences back to back you might walk right through the gift shop. But now you have an hour to kill. And once this is live it won't be " just pick up a paper FP to fill in ".

We started booking our December Fastpasses today. Had the same problem with wanting slight adjustments in the times and was able to find the way to do it. Did this from the Disney World site so not sure about the app.

-From the site go into My Disney Experience and the page "My Plans". You will see all the days you will be there and the Pastpasses you have already booked.
-Click in the area of the day you want to change to bring up a page for just that day.
-Scroll down until you see"Add Things To Do" and click on "Modify PastPass+"
-The next page will be the three you currently have. Select the one you want and click Next
-The next page has you choose to change the Experience (Ride) or change the time of the Experience. Pick one and then choose which members of your party you want to include
-Now you can pick another ride or choose from a list of available times

We were able to get the times more to our liking around our ADR's.
Hope this helps you get what you want.

We enjoyed our experience with Fastpass+ greatly so the line to complain does not include everyone.

It was the first time we got to ride Toy Story Mania with no wait and in the late afternoon, we did not even hit the parks until 1pm. I loved it.

Im pumped. Even more helpful is that I've got Soarin and Test track for the afternoon of my incoming travel day! . Lucky you... I have park tickets but can't use FP+ because the system doesn't recognize my tickets. I'm really disappointed in disney's rollout of this program. I'm going the week of Thanksgiving. So I feel I have a right to be concerned about the quality of my trip.

We were there Columbus weekend and used FP+ for the first time. I was VERY hesitant, but I must say I liked it. We could only use three FP, which was less than we normally used, but it was more calculated and we didn't have to do the mad dashes at HS to get TSM tickets (or other rides).

To the OP's point... we found it easiest to just change to get the three attractions we wanted. Once we got the three attractions (regardless of times), we could individually manipulate the times for each attraction. We got everything to work as we needed. The system doesn't let you see the available times, but once you have a time for each attraction, we we could change each individual attraction time to more closely align with what we needed. Not saying that is the greatest, but it seemed to work. Good luck and happy travels!

+1. This is exactly what I found. I manipulated times each day to exactly what I wanted in each park. Now I didn't try that for toy story mania cause I was happy with my pick but I did for many many other rides. Oh btw. I just did my fast passes for Epcot today and got test track at 915. Characters at 1035 I think and soaring at 1145. Those times might be a bit off bit even the same day all were back to back to back. For those worried just go and try it and I think a lot of ur worries will be null. It's not that bad. Diff bit not bad. I liked not having to dash around for paper if I didn't want to. I took way more pics and that's how it should be. It's a vacation and this time it was deff more slowed down. Which to me was good.

You need to call the number for help, they can fix that for you. The number is listed someone in My Disney Experience. The number on the tickets we got from Undercover Tourist has letters and numbers. I couldn't tell an O from a zero so when I linked the tickets in my account I entered a zero. 5 tickets were recognized but one was not. It had the O as the first character in the number. The I tried it again entering an O instead of a zero and it it worked. Your tickets will link, even if you have to call Disney IT for help. May your Thanksgiving be magical.

Do anybody really NEED a Fp for TT at 9:15? Of course the mere presence of FP+ might change things so much that now you do..... one of the unintended consequences of the "improved" system.

It's an infuriating system. Another example is that if you want to change, say, Splash Mountain 11am reservation to a Parade or Wishes, they won't come up as an option because they are not on at 11am!

i didn't try to manipulate this one cause we were going over for 9 anyway. In at 9 out by noon usually. We relax during the afternoon and shower then go eat a nice dinner and go back in. Just causexthe kids are young. All I was trying to say is the same day I was able to get 3 major attractions last minute.

The MDE user interface is terrible. It could be done far more smoothly and be much easier to use.
