Refillable mug Club Level

We are staying AKL Club level for our January trip. Would you bother with the refillable mug if you are staying on the concierge level?

We do not get mugs when staying CL. There is really no point. You have access to drinks in the lounge.

We bought mugs and used them a lot. The variety of beverages in the CL lounge differed from the QS options. The CL lounge beverages are fine but limited in choices. No need to decide until you see for yourself.

It'a a matter of preference whether or not to get the mugs when staying CL as you have access to all of the drinks and water you want, but we always buy them. I like to have them for souvenirs and sometimes we do get CS for breakfast and use them for coffee or pop instead of getting something in the lounge.

We stay club level almost every April (or May if the trip needs to be pushed back a bit) and don't bother with refillable mugs. I find that the CL offerings are more than sufficient. I also refuse to bring mugs with us to the parks as they're just unnecessary items to carry around.

That's us, though. If you think that you and your family would use the mugs regularly or simply want them for souvenirs/at home cups, go for it.

We don't. You can have all the soda you want in the lounge.

I agree with the people above. Don't go with the refill mugs.

There are plenty of soft drinks in the CL lounge.. Of course, if you get the food plan, they are included. In that case, get them by all means. I use to get the mugs because they had the resort logo and design. They are no longer resort specific and have a rather boring design so we quit buying them. We only get them now because they are included in the food plan.

I'd wait till you are there to decide. If you are spending a lot of time down by the pool, it's not that convenient to go up to the lounge to get a drink, unless you pack down some cans of pop from the lounge. It's very convenient to pop into The Mara by the pool to refill mugs.

we'll be at AKL CL next fall on the DP. so they will come automatically.

DH plans on using his for his early morning Coffee( I sleep in, he gets up at oh dark thirty to work out and then usually gets coffee on the way back to the room) I don't drink soda at all ( and only one cup of coffee a day) so my mug will get extremely limited use regardless.

I guess it will depend on your habits and the amount you expect to consume in a given day. convenience is always a factor.
