I would use the plan for your most expensive meals: Narccoossees, California Grill, and the character meals.

No one can recommend which meals to pay OOP unless we know the type of dining plan you are on and for how many nights. Usually, you would choose the least expensive meals (like the WC or Kona breakfasts) to pay OOP if you have too many meals for the dining plan. You can check the menus for recent prices.

My advice is pay out of pocket for breakfast. The other meals come with dessert but no breakfast so, in my opinion, you get a free 5-10 dollar dessert with lunch or dinner for the same thing as breakfast. Usually breakfast is cheaper too I believe.

Wouldn't it be best to pay OOP for the more expensive meals - those which cost you 2 dining credits? It is still your money whether it has been turned into a credit or it is cash in your wallet. A TS credit is worth about 37.50, at a 2 credit meal it is worth about 75.00. It will be hard for you to get the most bang for your buck at Most signature dining restaurants, but a buffet is where you really get your dollars worth.

My suggestion. Use your credits first. If you still feel like more TS meals then pay.
Otherwise when your family rebels at yet another long meal interrupting their fun you wind up stuck with unused credits
