1 Poly - Our top choice but price keeps us away a lot

2 POFQ - we consider this our home resort. LOVE it...

3 AOA - Family suite Lion King

4 CBR - I know a lot of people don't like it we do and have never had a bad stay

5 CSR - went once not for us, doesn't feel like Disney... convention resort.

6 (10000000)POP - I know I will get flamed but never again.. I would prefer not going to having to stay here. We did not even make it one night, and had to switch resorts.

1) Dolphin - best location we have stayed in WDW, large rooms, wonderful pool

2) CR - also a great location, more expensive than the Dolphin, nice pools, on the monorail.

3) WL - nice resort, pool is just OK, bunkbed rooms, boat to MK

4) CSR - great for a moderate with a deluxe feel, price was great, pool is excellent

1. BLT
2. Poly (for ease of travel - was not impressed by rooms or service)
3. WL

For me it has to be monorail or the boat to MK. And I have to say it is not a vacation if there isn't a bathroom door.

BLT is so far above all others for me that it would take all 10 spots if possible.

The updated list will be coming out in a bit!!!

This is a tough one because I love them for different reasons, but here goes!

Poly
Boardwalk Inn
Grand Floridian
Port Orleans French Quarter
Port Orleans Riverside
Pop
Wilderness Lodge
Beach Club
Saratoga Springs
Coronado Springs
Dolphin
All Star Sports (nothing personal, I'm just not a big sports fan)

Okay...It's LONG overdue, but I've updated the results. First off, I wanted to thank kjcs618 and their students for doing a work up on the numbers as well. Good job kids!!!

At this point, I have 219 different lists. As I did previously, I've done two results. The first list is according to the average rank by those who responded. The second is based upon percentage of people who selected that resort as their number one pick (please note that the percentages won't add up to 100% since some people did not rate every particular resort). Also, a couple of people have asked...I am lumping together DVC Villas with their hotel counterpart. I'm assuming that each person would pick his or her preference between the two. If you ranked both, I gave it the higher ranking of the two for computation purposes.

Average Rank:
Polynesian-2.351
Yacht Club-2.958
Animal Kingdom Lodge-2.965
Grand Floridian-3.123
Wilderness Lodge-3.262
Beach Club-3.277
Boardwalk-3.564
Contemporary-3.747
Old Key West-4.000
Port Orleans Riverside-4.524
Port Orleans FQ-4.577
Saratoga Springs-4.960
Art of Animation-5.500
Coronado Springs-5.615
Swan/Dolphin-5.700
Fort Wilderness-5.833
Caribbean Beach-6.000
Pop Century-6.076
All Star Music-7.500
All Star Movies-7.551
All Star Sports-7.897

(I only received four responses including Shades of Green, two ranking it as a 7 one as a 2 and one as a four. I didn't feel this was enough responses to have a sufficient sample to include it in the rankings. Ideally as more rank it though, I can include it.)

Based on Percentage of Response ranking the resort as their number 1

Polynesian-40.909%
Boardwalk-29.487%
Old Key West-27.500%
Animal Kingdom Lodge-27.193%
Wilderness Lodge-26.415%
Yacht Club-25.000%
Beach Club-19.802%
Grand Floridian-16.923%
Port Orleans Riverside-12.621%
Fort Wilderness-11.111%
Contemporary-10.843%
Art of Animation-7.143%
Saratoga Springs Resort-6.000%
Port Orleans FQ-5.128%
Dolphin/Swab-5.000%
Coronado Springs-2.597%
Caribbean Beach Resort-1.149%

Keep posting your updates and I'll keep updating the posting!!!

I've got a question for those posting based on some of the info kjcs618's class did. First off, just so everyone knows, I've always combined a hotel with its DVC counterpart. It seems from the lists, most people are either hotel stayers or DVCers. On some occasions, I'll see a list with both, but it seemed rare. If someone ranked both, I gave it the higher of the two rankings. First question...is this fair? My worry being, separating the two would dilute the sample size. I guess I assume that if you're a DVCer, you'd just choose the DVC instead of the hotel. Next question. Should Beach Club and Yacht Club be combined as one hotel? I've stayed at Beach Club and seen Yacht Club, but haven't stayed there. Obviously they are very similar and even share possibly the coolest pool on property. But, from reviewing the lists, it appears as though many, if not most, see them as two different hotels. I've seen this by, for example, people ranking Yacht Club high and Beach Club low...or vice versa. This goes as well for Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orleans French Quarter even though I think those are much more different from each other than Beach Club and Yacht Club. It seems as though those who rank one of the Port Orleans hotels high tend to have strong feelings against the sister hotel. I haven't stayed at either of the Port Orleans hotels to make a determination though.

Keep giving your lists, but let me know your thoughts for above.

Of the ones we've stayed at....

1. Poly
2. Contemporary (MK view-club level))
3. Boardwalk
4. Animal Kingdom Lodge (would rank at the top if the transportation options were better)
5. Port Orleans Riverside
6. Grand Floridian (would rank higher if parking wasn't 20 miles from the front entrance)
7. Dolphin
8. Port Orleans FQ
9. Contemporary (garden wing)
10. Pop Century
11. Coronado Springs
