Park at resort for dinner and then go to park?

We are thinking about eating dinner at one of the resorts and then taking the monorail to MK. Do the resorts let you park your car on their property for that?

December 16th here we come!!

I remember asking this question last year. I think the response was that you aren't supposed to but may be able to get away with it.

We drove to Chef Mickeys for breakfast, parked at the Contemporary, and took the monorail to Epcot. We paid for valet parking.

I think you are supposed to have a two hour parking but we actually did if too with valet parking and they told us it was fine.

If you valet park the car, then you may leave it there and go to the park. If you use self-serve parking, you will likely get a three-hour parking pass (and I have seen them towing people's cars at CR and the Poly.)

As the pp's said, if you valet park, you can leave your car there and go to a park. If you self park, you have a 3 hour parking limit and will have to move your car after dinner. Some will tell you it doesn't matter and to just self park and leave your car there, but the parking lots are for guests of that resort and people with ADRs (to park during their meal only).
