Right now, I'm looking at the week before T-day (Nov 13-22) or just after T-day (Nov 28-Dec 6). Any thoughts as to which would be the "cheaper" way to go in regards to FD/room discount or Stay/Play/Dine?

Not sure this is the right place to ask. My family is considering renting a cabin at Ft. Wilderness for our next trip. I did a google search and it *seems* like Ft. Wilderness is included in free dining, does anyone know for sure? Which dining plan is included for free? And all 6 people we would have in the cabin would get free dining?

In the past, FW cabins have been included. Never telling when they can change things, so I never rely on past promotions. Also you will receive free dining plan for all in the party, if it is offered. 1TS, 1CS and 1 Snack

Thank you! I'm not sure what we'll do yet but just early stages of planning and lots of finger crossing and wishing
Another question I thought of. If there is free dining for the first few days of our trip but it ends during our stay, do we get free dining for our entire stay or just the days within the promotion?

Just for a frame of reference, last year free dining ended the Nov. 23 and did not pick up again until Dec. 12. There was also a room discount of 5-30% depending on resort and the dates were much broader, included up to Dec. 23 I think. That was also bookable as a package. For many folks FD is almost always the best promo for the biggest discount!

Also just wanted to clarify, only one discount can be used even if more than one comes out at the same time. For example, if using free dining, can not also get the RO discount. : )

Even if you check in on the last day of free dining, you would qualify to receive it your entire stay as long as other minimum requirements are met; usually at least a three night stay and 2 days of park tickets.

What number should you call to check if you have a pin.

If FD is offered in September and you plan on staying at a value resort I heard that QSD is offered but can you pay an upgrade to get the regular DP? Thank you to anyone that can give me an answer!

Yes, you are correct. You pay the difference in price between the QS and DDP of your choice per person/ per day. For us the upgrade cost is about the same as a moderate so we upgrade to a moderate for same price as value with upgraded dining plan.

Just price a trip with and without the dining plan and the difference is the savings.
