We have been last 2 years for Thanksgiving and have always gotten a discount for the first few days of the week. Usually the black out starts on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving.

Keeping an eye out for November discount.

My husband is a teacher and one of their proposed calendars gives them a whole week off for Thanksgiving. So, I am keeping an eye out for a discount for that week. We have never been to WDW over Thanksgiving, but we have spent Christmas and New Years there. Free dining would be our best bet and with them offering it up to the Saturday before last year, that would work great for us this year. We are a family of 6 and need tickets anyways, so it would be a great deal for us.

We fly into Orlando from Australia on the 28th of November and are hoping that they bring out some discounts for 11/28 - 12/9. Does anyone know if they have had discounts on these dates in the past?

It is so hard to wait!!

We're planning a trip for November 15-22. Whether there's a discount determines where we stay, so we're eagerly watching and waiting here too.

Also hoping for discounts Nov 6-10. We are going for the W&D Half marathon, which is on the 8th.

If they offer FD and that week is excluded due to the W&D Half Marathon, will there be another offer available for that week? We just moved our reservation to POR in hopes of a deal of some kind coming up. Now I'm hearing that W&D weekend doesn't usually have any specials at all. My head hurts from all the anticipation.

I am running all of the numbers on resort/discounts options that could "might" come up right now. Planning on going 11/15-11/23(the week before thanksgiving) which I feel will have a decent chance of good discounts. We are hoping for a split stay with 4 night in a moderate(CBR or POR) with free dining and 4 night in a delux(CR or WL) with a good % off. If we can not get at least 30% off of the delux rooms we will most likely do the whole trip in a moderate with free dining. If no free dining then I'm not sure what plan C is going to be, probably moving to a value resort (AoA maybe) for the week. Do you think both room discounts and free dining will be announced together?

Does anyone know when fall discounts have usually been announced in the past? We are currently booked for nov 11-20 at a MOD resort. If good discounts are offered during our stay then hoping to move to WL, which would be awesome!!! If FD is offered, then I'll be on cloud nine! :-)

But just wondering if the discounts for Fall has usually be announced before, during, or after summer? Thank you!!!

We're planning our trip for Nov. 12-21. I'm hoping for a room discount or free dining.

To the pp, special offers for November were released on Aug. 1 last year.
