Question Dream done! Next... Fantasy?

Hi All! My family sailed on the dream in September for 4 nights. We loved it and are ready for another next year. We are thinking of doing a 7 night Western Caribbean on the Fantasy in September. Our son will be 3 by then (hooray for kid's club!!!) and we're thinking it will be easier to take on a longer itinerary by then. I realize that these two ships are in the same class and are probably similar... but what have your experiences been with the differences between a short itenerary vs. a longer one? Are there big differences besides things like formal night being included in a longer itinerary and not on a shorter one?

I'm getting excited already and we haven't even booked! I'd love to hear your experiences or advice! Thanks in advance!

We like everything better about the 7 night Fantasy sailing vs the Dream.

Get to know the crew better.
More relaxed pace.
More sea days.
More variety of activities available.
Additional midship detective agency storyline.
Fantastically themed adult bar areas.
Satellite Falls for adults.

Le me know!

We did the 3N Dream in August and loved it. I was thinking about a longer, but unsure so spring break we have another 3N on the Magic. Let me know how a longer one goes and that just might be our next over the summer!

I would go for a 5n on the Wonder next. Then switch to a 7n on the Fantasy, and finish it off with a 7n or even a WBT or EBT on the Magic...

You sound just like my DH and I. We took a 4 night cruise on the Dream in September and are planning a 7 night Western Caribbean August/September next year!! In fact, we might have been on the same cruise. Our cruise was September 1-5. This next one we're planning on is August 30-September 6. We are looking forward to the longer cruise. We though the 4 night was too short.

We were on the same cruise this year then! We're actually looking at doing the one on September 27th next year. DH will be coming home from military orders just before that so it will be a much needed vacation together!
