Disney Wonder October 12, 2013 Cruise

We are only days away from our embarkation day! We are so excited to be going back on the Wonder! Does anyone know who the Captain or Cruise Director is? Also, we are anxiously awaiting the return of the Wonder cruisers right now to see if we can receive Navigators?! Anyone have any information on the Wonder and Galveston? I know it is early into her Galveston sailings!

Hello fellow cruiser. We are on your sailing. Praying these storms end and the cruises continue as planned. I also would love to see navigators from the current sailing.

You will depart from cruise terminal 2. If driving go to Galveston.com and get prepaid discount parking. Drive up drop bags and rest of party at terminal, they will have to wait for you, all have go in together. I parked two blocks from ship. They have shuttle but could have walked. Terminal is set up as much as posible as Disney. Spot for boarding picture. Our PAT was 11 we got their at 10 all went like clock work. You can watch Wonder this weekend Sat at Galveston.com four camers cover the port. C Magic will be at Terminal 1. The ship is in the Gulf in 15 mins after sail away. It was our first cruise and we had a great time. We live 4 hrs from dock will miss DCL at Galveston. But only 1 hr from NO we are praying for them to come to New Orleans.
Ship arrives at 6:30am sat watch Harbor Cam. Then cruise cam and pier 23 cam and last emerald cam.

I was on that sailing, what are you wanting to know? I do have my navigators but don't have a scanner so I can't upload.

Were there a lot of character photo opportunities? Were they in Halloween costumes at all? How was Halloween festivities? Galveston merchandise? Was the ship rocking badly? How was the overall experience?

TONS of character opportunities, but since ours was a full sailing there was some lines, and I'd suggest going to the 10:15pm meet and greets or getting there early if your sailing is full too. They did halloween costume meets on Wednesday night. Merchandise: had some halloween, didn't see anything Galveston related, had TONS of Alaska and Panama Canal pins on clearance and lots of 2013 branded things on clearance as well. Here's a link to my highlights that talk about ship rocking (note we went through a tropical storm so that played a factor that you might not face if no more storms appear) and Halloween.
