Food Allergies and Quick Service

Looking for some thoughts..

I have a bunch of food allergies. I'm not worried about my ADR's as I've been able to add my allergies to my reservations, and have heard such wonderful things about Disneys handling of this at table service restaurants.

That being said, I will be shocked if there is anything on a counter service restaurant menu that does not contain atleast one thing I am allergic to. Will counter service restaurants prepare something off menu, or alter a menu item to accommodate allergies? Or do they just give you a list of allergens in each item?

If they can't change menu items, I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

If it helps, current food allergens (unfortunately they've been multiplying recently): wheat, dairy, peanuts, shellfish, soy, egg whites.

It pretty much knocks out most prepared foods.

Thoughts?

It depends on the CS. The resort CS usually have more options....especially the value and moderate.

My allergies are:
Peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, shellfish, wheat, dairy, soy, oats, coconut, sesame, sunflower seeds, cherries, bananas, honey, ginger, raw fruits, raw vegetables

When we went in June, we ate at:
Contempo cafe
Columbia harbor house
Cosmic rays
Sunshine seasons
Artists palette

When we went in December, my allergies were:
Peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, shellfish, wheat, soy, oats, coconut, sesame, sunflower seeds, ginger, raw fruits, raw vegetables, and honey

We ate at:
Pop century food court
Sunshine seasons
Studio catering company
Columbia harbor house
Cosmic rays
American pavilion

I don't remember exactly what I ate at each place but we had no problem with cross contamination. Honestly, the only place we had any issue was at the Garden Grill.

I do remember I ate:
Allergy chicken tenders
French fries
Allergy Mickey waffles
Roasted vegetables
Bun less burgers
Grilled chicken
Roasted potatoes
Cooked veggies
Gluten free pasta

All of it was very good. We were there for a week both times and I never went hungry.
