Feedback regarding Atlantis Trainer for the Day excursion?

We are considering doing the trainer for the day excursion at Atlantis. This has interested us for a while but we weren't sure about spending the money. We are thinking of taking the plunge and doing it during our cruise in March. We love animals and behind the scenes types of experiences so we think it sounds like something we would really enjoy.

Has anyone had any experience with this at Atlantis who could provide some feedback on whether you enjoyed it, did it seem worth it, etc? Thanks for any input!

We did it last year and it was amazing. The morning was spent in the water with the dolphins. We then went to meet the sea-lions and then some rescued dolphins. Lunch was a buffet and was great. The afternoon was with the fish. We prepare food for some large sharks (I think they were) and fed them with grabbers. Then we went in with the rays and fed them. Toured the nurseries and things - jelly fish farms and all sorts. My only complaints were around the communication on how the day would pan out. We got bands that allowed us access to the water parks do we figured it would end sometime after lunch and we could spend some time relaxing. We got there and waited at least 20 mins in re reception - there were 6 of us in total - us and a family of three teen kids. Eventually after asking a couple of times we were told we needed to go to a different building. So off we went on a shuttle bus. The keeper came and met us and said she wondered where we had got to. I had read somewhere that the last bus back was around 5 so by 4.45 I was beginning to wonder when it would end, I mentioned it to the keeper and he said no worries and took us back to the building we had been dropped off at on a golf cart - kids loved it! Last bus had gone it seemed and the rep from another ship took pity on us and put all 6 of us on one of their buses. The other family of kids were a little distressed and we reassured them it would be fine - they would see we were all on one trip and wouldn't go without us - didn't actually feel that confident myself! Now whether there was a seperate bus that was programmed to come back for us I am not sure. Suffice to say we made it back. I did complain about the complete disorganisation of the trip and said I felt for the amount we had paid we should have been escorted to and met to come back. We were given a 10% discount - but it was more that I felt they should sort it out for future cruisers - do they not do this very often? It did take the edge of an otherwise fantastic day! DS19 had pulled a face when we booked but loved it.

I'm looking at doing the trainer for a day as a private excursion - the cruise I'm on doesn't offer it as a choice, but I'm a little worried about time,
So just have a couple quick questions.
1. About what time are you finished with all the animal experiences?
2. When can you collect your USB with your photos?

I'm thinking that I may need to leave about 4.30 as we sail at 6pm.
