Checking in - Magic band -- and making changes

Is there a way you can change the 4 digit pin code that is applied to the magic band for room charging privileges?

I just got the email for us to "test" the bands and didnt rad about the pin.

It should be intersting as we have APs and they will not be attached to the band. From what i hear this will not allow us FP+. Bumers

Why will your AP's not be associated with the MagicBands?

The pin has nothing to do with FP+. You can set a pin number for purchasing items and having them charged to your room.

The PIN is part of online checkin, and was part of it even back for our February trip with RFID cards and doorlocks. It's for purchases, since they don't check ID.

We have APs and I was able to add them to our account. This made them usable with our MBs, and we were able to get FP+. We already had the APs in hand, but then it sounds like you do, too. Why aren't you adding them to your account?

(when I added them, the wording on the site told me directly to bring the paper APs as well, so we did, and did not know that they were accessible with the bands. I think it was our 3rd day when we were told that we could use the bands to enter the parks, and we could...but the paper APs had worked just fine.)

Changing the PIN: if you aren't able to change it while redoing online checkin, you can easily do it at the resort. But I was actually able to change it at one point while modifying my online checkin. Up until that moment it kept telling me to do it at the resort, and then it changed. And it worked.
